On sherman hill the problem I keep coming across is that an alarm that seems to be similar to the alerter keeps going off, and stopping my train. What happens is that it will go off once, and I hit the reset. Then about 4 - 5 seconds later it goes off again, and stops my train even if I hit the reset. I can seem to narrow down what it could be, though I suspect it has something to do with ATC, or speed related, though I am not speeding. What do you guys think is doing this?
Hi, sorry I don't know what it is but I suggest you also put what loco it is. And maybe even what service.
It has to do with a botched implementation of ACSES- it kicks in when you get up to around 25mph, no matter what the speed limit is. Sadly, the only way to run the SD70 is to turn off safety systems.
