    Logan, W.Va., coal district Peach Creek Terminal C&O

    TIME:
    1945-1950

    POSSIBLE ENGINES:
    2-8-4 Berkshire
    0-10-2
    2-6-6-2 h6 class

    SERVICES:
    Coal drags (obviously)
    Comuter/locals (being pulled by the H class according to "Trains magazine: The last Baldwin")
    Helper service (in 0-10-2 or H class)

    I couldn't find a map of the route, nor the length. If any can however, the info would be greatly appreciated.

    C&O is actually a predecessor Railroad of CSX. Therefore owners of this route can run them on Sand Patch Grade as railtours. Exception the Clinchfield SD40 both Mainline and Yard jobs.

    This route was the very last hold out of steam on the C&O. It also is easier to rebuild as, last I checked, most of the structures from that era, including coaling tower, mine, and yard office, are still visible.

    Also makes me wonder why they don't do that with C&O 1309.

    If you look at C&O 1309 that locomotive is actually owned by Western Maryland Scenic RR which DTG doesn't have a licence for.

    Haha, who said 1309 would be in the game. Just the sounds. I mean it's not like it's the only operational one or anything.

    A C&O 2-10-4 T1 would be a great addition to the list. The Allegheny 2-6-6-6s are a must.

    Recording the T-1s sounds are easy, because there is one in operation, but recording the Allegheny would be nearly impossible as there are no good recordings of it, and none are in operation.

    I would prefer UP steam with a Big Boy, Challenger, and FEF, as well as a 4-12-2 as DLC.

    Yeah, but those routes don't really have a decent variety of operation, because remember, this route also includes the mines the line served. Meaning that coal loading will take place, whilst providing interesting, and more simple locomotives to run.

    The C&O class j-3 class 4-8-4s and 4-8-2s would be a great add on as well.
