Hi everyone. I’ve never really gotten into TSC, and so never really finished any of the scenarios, but now that I have really gotten into it, I am starting to complete all scenarios on some of the routes I own. I have started downloading a whole bunch of workshop scenarios and swapping the default route locos with the advanced locos I got, but once you have completed those, what do you guys do? With the Im Koblitzer Bergland route I got, I completed all the scenarios and can’t find any workshop scenarios for it, so not sure how else to use the route. This is where I would absolutely love TSWs service mode in TSC. If you make your own scenarios, what do you do? Do you make fictitious ones or do you try and base them off real timetables? And how do you go about putting it all together if this is the route you take?
You will never really run out of scenarios for TSC. There are thousands of them out there, and more are made every day. If you have done all the scenarios for a route, then make your own. It can be fictitious, but it's not too difficult to get train movements and times online, especially for modern scenarios. It's a bit trickier for historic stuff of course. As for scenarios for your Koblitzer Bergland route, don't just rely on the workshop. In fact, I hardly ever look on there. There are loads of sites with downloadable scenarios. No idea how many for that route though, as I only ever drive British stuff. Not sure what service mode is, as I stopped using Train Sim World ages ago. From what I've briefly read though, sounds a bit like free roam in TSC.
Could you please provide some of the places you get scenarios from? I am looking for content for Rivera in the 50s route for the Victory Works and Bossman locos. I am as well looking for other routes I have, a few British, US. Service mode I guess is kinda like free roam, but you can take any service and drive it, so you still get all the AI traffic. From what I have ever experienced in free roam in TSC is that there is no AI.
Take a look at rail-Sim.de they have scenarios, they are in German but the instructions are easy to follow. The site is in German and English.
Alan Thomson Sim DP Simulation On Track Simulations Golden Goldsmith Weebly Vulcan Armstrong Powerhouse The issue is whether you have all the assets to run them. Just google Train Simulator Scenarios... there's an amazing amount of stuff out there. The good thing with the workshop I suppose is that the assets requires to run them are often quite light compared to some of the freeware stuff.
Not sure how how those based on real time tables are unrealistic, but hey ho... each to their own That's the good thing with TSC I suppose... you can do pretty much what you want with it.
Apart from no autonomous AI shunting. Which should be a given in a train game. Good god Trainz has had it for years, buddy.
A landmark route. Very detailed, definitely a recommendation. Here's the workshop scenarios: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop...browsesort=trend&days=-1&actualsort=trend&p=1
No interest in shunting, and it's not really a deal breaker for AI when I'd only really see it for a second as I drive past a yard or something. Plus, you can put it in yourself when you design a scenario if you want.
Excellent route! Highly recommend. Its got so much to offer and the details are fantastic! There is a fantastic German steam loco I got from https://www.theforgesimulation.co.uk/shop/ and it is perfect for this route, I got the BR52 and 40 I think. Pro level, super detailed, fantastic for this route. No scenarios for this route with there locos, but I subbed in on the included steam loco scenarios, and I want to make my own for it.
