So, with GWE winning plaudits left right and centre let's look at the other route to get the Preservation treatment, NTP. Er.... It's not great. I'm so glad the class 47 is on livery designer now (as is the WSR 47) and having downloaded a load of liveries it's nice to see the route full of colour but it's a shame the game can't insert liveries for the carriages as well. It's also empty, the yards and sidings don't have anything in them, The PIS system is so faint it's hard to see, Not all stations have it which is realistic but a departure board or poster with times on would be nice. Also the streets have the odd one or two cars if you're lucky, Also there are no passengers. I've driven several services and all trains have been empty, This screenshot I took at Huddersfield was as soon as I opened the doors. This is a route that should have had more care put into it. However I assume time was against the Preservation team, shame really.
I did not know this about the Ai not being able to load different carriage types at random? Was this announced somewhere? I supose in theory you could build a sceanerio on NTP where the newly created virgin cross country carriages run against you in the drop down fields? Is this the same for the seacows, as just downloaded them also in rusted format so assume unless I manually select them they won't ever appear in AI TrainSim-Matt is this really the case that only Ai trains will deploy in different liveries at random in timetable mode? The NTP carriages should surely be able to do this? You have to give credit to creators club, some of the 47s have been outstanding, its a proper train spotters paradise on NTP now or indeed any route with the 08,37,40,52,47 bundled in, bravo to the creators. As far as I am aware NTP has never randomly inserted created livery coaches in the game the same as Diesel Legends of the 1970's You can obviously slide them into your scenarios that you do but as for ion timetable mode i have yet to see them. Hentis
When you enter the livery designer and you get the statement "Saved Liveries will be available in timetable mode", this should be amended to "Saved Liveries May but probably won't appear in timetable mode"
I have just made a comment about it on other thread, about this update! Before there were some few people on the stations, now only on the 3 big ones. The rest is empty, as the trains.
