I was wondering why you can’t connect routes in game that connect irl such as the southeastern line to the London commuter line as I’m pretty sure southeastern class 375’s run at London Victoria to St Pancras or like any other lines that could connect 10.0.0.0.1, I think that would be a pretty cool feature to add so that it feels more real and you’d be able to see other trains that run to different locations on maps that don’t usually use them?

You would have to make a route from Rochester to London Victoria and all the stations in between. That would effectively be a route extension of SEHS. It would take time to build and DTG don't currently want to extend or merge routes even though it keeps getting asked over and over again

There's also the issue of creating a timetable with route merging and stuff which they say is complicated at the moment. Also got to take into account whether they can be merged cuz routes set in different time periods. Even if in the same time period, do trains run along with routes or do they stop in the middle somewhere. For example, I read passenger trains on rsn and rro stop at hagen and don't crossover if that makes sense (different service numbers, etc). Only like freight trains go the whole route or something. Dcz and dra are set in 2 different years so can't be merged. Other merges would need a new branch line or more stations added and miles of track. They have also mentioned extensions would not be financially viable considering their experience from the past. Until they have the tech to create route mergers and extensions and creating timetables without breaking anything, we will have to continue waiting

The Southeastern High Speed line in game models St Pancras to Ebbsfleet, and Ebbsfleet to Faversham. Victoria isn't on that route.
There is a depiction of Victoria on Brighton Mainline (London Commuter) but they're not linked in game because DTG haven't put those tracks in the game (along with the 20 odd stations and hundreds of timetabled services)
There's nothing to say they COULDN'T do this, only that they haven't

You don't need the routes themselves to see this, only the trains (which can run as AI). To use an example on your stated route, there are class 465s in Victoria on BML that run out to the Chatham Mainline (towards Orpington or via Medway) and these are not drivable, but DO appear in game and on track when you're driving. There's also a HST on BML that you can see running through Clapham Junction that isn't drivable and simulates a GWR diversion from Waterloo
So the only things stopping this is the creation of relevant rolling stock assets and the incorporation onto the timetable
