Class 395 Power Modes

Discussion in 'TSW General Discussion' started by dangerousdave, Jul 3, 2022.

  1. I thought I'd give the 395 a go but am stuck with power mode changes. No matter what I try it just won't change over. As soon as I get to ebbsfleet and change the power mode from ac to dc or vice versa the line light goes out and I'm stuck.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

Hit pan up/reset twice I think? Line light should re-light.

    DC - AC :
Hold CTRL button down for two seconds - LINE VOLT light will go out, MCB light will light up
Press PAN UP / SHOES DOWN - LINE VOLT light will light up, MCB light will stay lit
Press PAN UP / SHOES DOWN again - LINE VOLT light will stay lit, MCB light goes out
    You can now take power

    AC - DC :
Hold DC button down for two seconds - LINE VOLT light will go out, MCB light will light up
Press PAN UP / SHOES DOWN again - LINE VOLT light will light up, MCB light goes out
    You can now take power

  6. Hi yes I watched the tutorial. I'm holding ctrl as I push pan up/shoes down, I push it twice long press or short press but nothing happens. I've tried in forward N and off. But nothing.

  7. It was the second push I was missing. Thanks guys.

Edit: or confused with. I thought ctrl needed to be pushed twice. My 9 year old just explained it all to me!
