I have recently noticed crossing AI trains with no locomotive at front, or even some missing cars in the middle! After other runs, happening the same, I suspect this is due to Creators Hub! I mean, the missing locomotives and cars are repaints ones, I got from there. Despite of what can "naturally" should happens, the DTG schemes of trains and cars, which are much more detailed than the ones you can get with Creators Club, it is this ones which does not appear! What I mentioned above, is based on, you are limited in the quantity of layers on Repaint tool, and you get very close to a repaint, the quality of the image of the symbols and details is poor compared with the official ones. So despite they are less detailed, it seems they are "heavier" than the DTG ones, from the memory usage point of view! Hopes the quality of repaints can be improved using the Repaint Tool.
Sounds like a problem that happens in TSC on PC where you would get a train going past with only the axles showing... the body would be completely missing and it was due to the repaint files not being loaded correctly so they just weren't shown
Something like this, right?: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/glowing-plates-and-a-ghost-train.55449/#post-494214
Yes. But if your missing freight cars, are repainted ones made with Creators Club. I never experienced this with my own repaints. It seems it be a memory issue taking more time to load them. I remember on a train, the locomotive does not being seen at distance, but just appeared when was close to me.
Well, I guess it´s random. In the video comes first a BR243 in old DR livery (this seem to work), followed by a train of Habinns. Now, for these I had quite a lot of different liveries downloaded from CC. I had to take them off. But of course, as a lowly, lowly schlepper PS4 user you have to live with a really boooooring Habinns train.
Pipe, It is really a strange issue. I do not have repainted Habbins. But I have german tanks, and I see them mostly on Dresden Riesa which is a very demanding route about memory resources, but no have a problem with them. May be as Habbins are larger freight cars, - so more "bits" consumers - disappears more frequently.
