The advent of Creators Club and the availability of massive numbers of alt-liveries is a huge boon to the game. BUT- the substitution system has to catch up; at present any livery you have for any rolling stock present on the route might pop up as AI, whether you want it or not. PLEASE, give us an interface to control whether a livery appears on a given route! For example, I don't want a black Clinchfield SD40 rolling down Sand Patch; and I have refrained from downloading a nifty BR Green 101 for West Somerset because it would look absurd if it popped up on TVL.
in some cases you will find Riesa-Dresden 143s running Ruhr Sieg Nord services. My First run I had an AI RB91 RE16 Iserlohn to Hagen Hbf had an East German Deutsche Reichsbahn DR BR243 paint while I got the Ruhr Sieg Nord 143. Even AI Trains are using creators club paint not the normal one therefore we need to have an option Creators Club Paint player normal paint AI
One issue I have noticed is: You have selected a repaint of a locomotive, and the same repaint for they passenger cars. For example the IC white with red stripe for the BR146 + Dostos. When I select the train for a timetable, you can only select the locomotive repaint one. But the Dostos appeared some red, and others with the white scheme. That is ugly! I believe the ones having a PC does not "suffer" this issue. But on PS4 there is nothing I can do. Repaints appears randomly. OK for a freight train. But not for a passenger one as a consist (locomotive + passenger cars with the same paint scheme from Creators Club) Or there is a solution for it? Really appreciate any help about it.
I agree this can make the route so unrealistic sometimes and makes trains look weird. Hopefully we will have some way to control what liveries we want to see on trains. Also if you can have a full train of the same livery in scenario planner am pretty sure you can implement this in timetable.
There are some trains that will never spawn with a custom livery, which I have used to make unrealistic/anachronistic liveries, on top of my head there is RT BR182 and DoStos* SKA Talent 2 and ICE3 DB BR101 *Last time I checked it was a while ago, I'll check again tonight.
