Following My "Modern Scottish routes" post, (read it first, link in the comments)
I ask what would you like to see? You can vote as many as you want. I'll post a follow up for the historical post. If you really want to see a historical Scottish route wait on the next poll

Edinburgh - Glasgow in the lead with 9 votes! The croy line (as an extension) has 4 votes too! Good to see what you all think!

Edinburgh Glasgow up to 12, the Croy extension has 5! It would be good to see this given we have a really outdated version on TS

I voted for Edinburgh to Glasgow as personally most of those routes I would prefer historic version. The WHL with class 37's or 27's of the far north with a class 26 and maybe a class 24.

I think the Ayrshire Coast Line would be a best seller - particularly the section between Stevenston and Saltcoats which is often seen on the news during storms.

    See my proposal here.

West Highland Line, Mallaig to Fort William with A WCR Black five and scotrail 156 and/or 158. There is of course the Glenfinnan viaduct and there is also some fun operations regarding running around the Jacobite at Fort William and Mallaig. Maybe even a Bike Train 153 as a DLC!

Wow E-G has 33 votes. That's 1 off double the 2nd place, which has 17.

The southern half of the Far North line (Inverness inc. Milburn Yard) to Lairg, set in the early 70's would be quite interesting. There was still a fair bit of freight traffic - Invergordon obviously, but also the Lairg oil tanks, grain to Muir Of Ord and the daily freight to/from Wick.

Be great if it could be Edinburgh to Glasgow QS via Falkirk as well as having Edinburgh/Glasgow to Stirling.

Ayrshire and Edinburgh to Glasgow since it can give Cathcart Circle Class 380s 318 320 334.

Big fan of the SPT network here so I'd go for the North Clyde (or Argyle) line(s). Edinburgh - Glasgow would be best in the 47 push pull era I reckon.

Ayrshire would give the 380 and Edinburgh to Glasgow would give none of them. Edinburgh - Glasgow (via Falkirk, which is the one I refer to in the OP) is operated by the 385. Formerly the 170.

And the 334 has no real relevance to the Cathcart Circle, in any appropriate era.
