That is a good idea but most people would probably prefer it at present day. you'll get trains like the class 800 and class 185 in modern day.
There is another train that used to run this in the late seventies early 1980s you are looking at a Paxman Valenta HST. That and Deltic are Express trains
I hadn't forgot about the hst as it would have to be included in any ecml route but I said deltics as I have much fonder memories of them passing my bedroom window when I was much much younger.
