I’m a bit confused regarding the possible layers for Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg.

Is there a timetable mode for the DB Br 112 from Hamburg-Lübeck?

No.

In general, a route necessarily can only include layers for locos that were already in existence when the route was made. HBL and the 112 came out after HMA.

In some cases the Preserved Crew have reworked a route and added new layers, but in most cases you won't find layers for newer trains on older routes.

That's substitution, not a layer. A layer is an independent timetable with new services
