Hello guys from Dovetail Games. I'm once again asking for you guys to add your games Nvidia Cloud Gaming Service, Geforce Now. It's pretty easy to do so using Steam Cloud Play (You can see how to add it here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/cloudgaming ) Would love Train Simulator, TSW1, TSW2 and the new TSW3 on the service and I would happily buy it. If it not gets added I will not be buying it since I won't be able to play it on my own computer. (Just like I didn't bought TSW1 and TSW2 because they are not in the service). I'm tired of asking to add the games to the service. You guys are the ones losing. There is nothing negative about adding the games to the service and it's very simple to do so. You guys are simply losing sales just like other publishers out there. Thank you and have a nice day.
Im gonna be honest here, instead of complaning about it on here why not just save up money to get a better PC or A Steam Deck to play Train Sim World, you're the one that's losing not DTG
Maybe because I live in a country where a computer is expensive and our salaries are low. I use Cloud Gaming because it's pretty easy to use and you only need a internet connection. You are not right. They are the ones losing. They are losing sales, because there are other people like me that only buy the game if it's available on the service. And keep in mind that if I'm playing on the service I need a copy of the game. Many people that own a computer probably just pirate the game and doesn't care (probably because of the excessive/expensive DLCs). I don't do that, I would have to buy the game and the DLCs just to be able to play it on the service. Sure I could save money and buy a new computer, but that would take some years to finnaly have it. But anyways, thank you.
There are several reasons for using a streaming service over building a new PC... here's two: #1. Not everyone wants to play in a secluded office/bedroom and that's usually were the best cpu is (some desktop in an office) - I need to be around the family - so I need to stream the game to whatever laptop I can sit at around the family. My main PC is in an office, so if I can't play there... where (unless I buy yet another laptop - see #2)? If I try and stream games from my PC using Steam, the quality is a real problem. I can stream from streaming services (like Nvidia's) to a Mac, or lower end PC laptop without issue playing games like Elite Dangerous, Eve Online, No Man's Sky, Cyberpunk, etc. #2. Cost. I know people say "oh a new pc doesn't cost much," but it's a lark. Sure you can go cheap and get a cheap pc, and it will be obsolete in less than a year, or you go mid-high end and spend well over a $1,500 and get a good system to last a few years. I chased that pipe dream for most of my adult life, constantly upgrading, buying new parts, getting new computers... I just can't afford that anymore. OR you can use Nvidia's service for FREE with some constraints (resolution capped at 1080p, no RTX, and limited to 1HR of play at a time, but can login after disconnect), if you want those options on Nvidia's service the cost is fairly cheap, but I'm on the free tier anyway, happy with 1080p. I actually decide on the games I want to play based on if they are on Nvidia's streaming service, hence how I found this thread. Sadly, one less potential customer. I know it's not a big loss for the company, but yeah I just won't be doing the old playing games in a dark office away from everyone for hours on end. It just isn't worth it for me at this point in my life. If I were single, in my 20-30's, living alone, yeah I'd invest in a gaming laptop or just use my current PC in that office... but not anymore, not when life changes.
