I bought SEHS knowing nothing about UK railways. It quickly became my top route, especially with that 465. I’m telling you, I played that route to death. It really nails the early rainy morning UK feel. There’s something sadistically satisfying about bringing all my virtual people to their miserable soul sucking jobs in the middle of some absolutely godawful weather. I’m excited for the coming extension. More of a network feel like Dresden, better timetable, a complete Javelin experience, and prettier rain to soak my poor commuters before their terrible day has even begun. If only lighting could hit an umbrella… I knew nothing about UK railways before playing TSW2. Southeastern High Speed quickly turned this American into a die hard BR fan. And the big announcement has me driving my favorite route again…so that’s cool.
I know it's nit-picking but the run to Ashford is a more complete experience, but for the full system they would need to add in Ashford to Dover via Folkestone (21 miles) Ashford to Ramsgate via Canterbury West (29½ miles) Dover to Ramsgate via Sandwich (22½ miles) Faversham to Ramsgate (27 miles) All of the above are also served by Javelins with services generally terminating at Dover, Ramsgate, Margate and early morning starting at Sandwich and I believe Deal
