The latest DT sale is now on. Personally don't think I will be partaking, I pretty well have everything on offer. Bulk discount June 14, 2022 9:23 am / Digital Traction Get 50% off with more than £15 worth of items in your cart with code “DTBulk”.
They usually have a Sale when, or just before, a Steam sale is on. Even if you subscribe to their emails there is no advanced notice of a Sale but they do offer discounts on new releases
Commiee. If RSSLO follow the same pattern as last year they are likely to have on to coincide with the Steam sale. Keep a watch on their website and Facebook page for details. Also you can sign into their news letter too. I hope that helps.
We are fast approaching the time for TSC sales. While Digital Traction seem to have a continuous sale these days, but last year the Steam sale began on Thursday June 24th and ran for a fortnight so look out this Thursday. Among other sales, which included both a Steam Sounds Supreme having a sale which ran from June 22nd-29th last year with a 30% discount and a RSSLO Summer Sale which ran from June 22nd-30th last year also with 30% discount and this year’s RSSLO summer sale has already begun. Also there are some good cd key discount sales on now, so remember to shop around for what you are after. So keep an eye out on the usual channels this week as, probably this time, I will be too busy investing to add a comment on this forum. Happy Bargain Hunting folks
Steam Summer Sale June 23rd, well, that's tomorrow, yikes, I'd better get anything downloaded in the morning then, before the website crashes...... Cheerz. Steve.
It’s sale day caledonia works 30% of locomotives 15% off rolling stock code CWLOCOSUMMER22 CWWAGONSUMMER22
Here comes everyone to compete against Steam. Who has their summer sale today at 1 p.m. ET. Less than four hours away.
Steam sale now live. Some good bargains to be had. Many routes 45% off. The Metropolitan Line pack with the S7 stock is under £20, something like 65% off.
A bit late as old news. I mentioned it in my posting last Saturday. Anyone having trouble purchasing in the latest stream sale. I am getting validation messages on credit cards debit cards and paypal. Probably a glitch in their system.
The Steam store isn't working correctly for me at the mo. Weight of traffic I assume. TSC is looking exceptionally good value at present. Three long iconic routes for £7.99; impossible to get better value in my opinion. Re, RSSLO. Some items are currently cheaper on Steam than on their own site, so shop around.
Major Steam sales often have issues in the first hours. Don't bother looking until tomorrow, I'd say.
I had to reboot my PC after placing the orders, then went back into Steam and downloads came thick and fast.
I did the same and managed to complete my purchases. A lot of TCS content is not on sale or at a higher price than in the past.
May go back for a second dip before the sale ends, get the Bossman Rebuilt Bulleid Light Pacifics, also the West Somerset. Latter not of particular interest in itself, 25 MPH grind, but a lot of freeware routes seem to be referencing it for assets.
There is a high detail version at SteamSoundsSupreme. It requires the JT Mid-Hants, though. Itself not really worth it just for the asset or two, I'd be more encouraged to replace that asset.
Green Man Gaming https://www.greenmangaming.com/search?query=train simulator 60% off all available DLC Ends 29th July
Any JustTrains sales coming? If I remember correctly, last year it was right after the Steam Summer Sale.
I am sure there will be a JT sale but they are very predicable these days, as it will only be Western and Midland Mainline content. It would be good to see a JT sale at 30% off locos and routes. If you want a TSC sale try DTG https://store.dovetailgames.com/uk/sale
TSW 2 for £2.24! (Still overpriced) TSW 2020 is £2.90 Managed to pick up TS Classic for £6.84 from Green Man Gaming. Surprisingly I didn't have any of the routes so about £60 worth at RRP. Bargain!
I'm not sure if this is old news or not because I don't know when this small sale started, but I have not seen anyone talk about it. On Dovetail Games Store there is a Flash Sale for a few items (3 Locos and 3 Routes). I will list them here. Locos (60% off) BR Class 402 '2-HAL' (60% off) Norfolk Southern GP38-2 High Hood (60% off) Western Pacific FP7 "California Zephyr" Routes (60% off) Chatham Main & Medway Valley Lines (60% off) Feather River Canyon (60% off) North Somerset Railway
Five more items from DTG, up to 60% off https://store.dovetailgames.com/uk/sale I expect a Steam Sounds Supreme Sale sometime in the next month, possibly mid August, plus the release of Just Trains Hope Valley Line which won’t be on sale but will probably have a discounted price for those who have Midland Mainline.
Good discounts for some German and Chinese HS locomotives and Routes https://store.dovetailgames.com/uk/sale
For anyone interested in some sales for TSC, look out for a Armstrong Powerhouse sale at the end of next week to coincide with the bank holiday and maybe a Steam Sounds Supreme sale, as they normally have one in August too.
It certainly does seem like Richard's decided to dial back the amount of sales per year, it wouldn't surprise me if it actually turned out to be more effort than it was worth holding as many as it'd built up too. Having just one maybe two big efforts a year would most likely mean less work but more reward for AP. And of course any extra would feel like a bonus to us.
Thanks for the heads up on this sale, I just grabbed the Frankfurt U-Bahn for £16.99. OMG what a route, the graphic quality has got to be the best available on TSC without enhancement / re-shades.
Thank you Craigie, I enjoy this route and can recommend the S-Bahn German route too. Good price for the enjoyment. Hope the U-Bahn is produced eventually for TSW3.
But, you can't run freight trains or ICEs on that U-Bahn route can you? The Germans love their Ubahns but it's not something I'm particularly interested in as it's tube passenger train running all the time, no variety as such, can't even get any Steamers working on it..... But, you can on the S-Bahn Rhein Main DLC route which is not as bad as reviews show i m o, I like it, plenty to get your teeth into, and it caters for all manner of train consists, it's very good, although the vegetation lets it down a wee bit, but, we can change things though, hooray for that, and on Rail-Sim.de someone has done some livery reskins into S-Bahn Rhein main colours for Influenzo's BR420 EMU, which are excellent. Cheerz. Steve.
Well no, it's a modern light rail route, of course you can't run steam trains or a 300 kph train on it just as you can't run a Big Boy on the Metropolitan Line. It's absolutely not underground all the time though - only brief city centre sections are and once you get above ground it's a very nice tram-like experience. There's also a good mix of old and new rolling stock that manages to keep things interesting. I second the above recommendation, for variety and execution I find this one of the top 10 routes on TSC - well worth that sale price!
I suppose it depends on how much work is involved in updating the website each time, I don't know, you get that I was surmising not stating fact right?
Well, CD Keys are selling TSC for £3.09 at the moment, three routes for just a pound or so each isn't too bad. I've got WCML already but Riesa-Dresden should be fun
Be careful if this is the deal. https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/train-simulator-classic-pc-steam I purchased TSC via CD keys. Make sure it is TSC as they show the cover, but what I got was TS2021. I was able to get a refund because although the information supplied seemed like TSC, the key suppled was actually 2021 and was not corrected.
Today may be the day of the Armstrong Powehouse sale, as the Class 700 and 800 which I am wanting have been reduced.
