given the core routes are being changed in the new game, will boston sprinter be unplayable? Meaning, some static rolling stock was plucked from sand patch grade to fill in the yards. given it's no longer a core route, will boston sprinter have compatibility problems if a player buys boston sprinter but not sand patch?

The way I understand it, Sand Patch will be a playable route in TSW3 like any other. The three core TSW2 routes should be individually downloadable for TSW3 on launch day and the layers from SPG for Boston Sprinter should therefore work fine. The only delay so far is the New Expansion Pack I believe.

You won't see the static stock without Sand Patch Grade installed (available separately and will be free if you own TSW2). The route should be playable still as these are just a layer.

At what point did you hear the previous core routes would be free to prior owners of TSW2? I have not seen any such article stating that.

Ok, I had assumed the core routes from TSW2 would not fall under that category and must be purchased seperately.
