The new version is out tomorrow and we only have 22 reasons why we play the game already and 2 bits of info in 64bit and editions Anything else new to be revealed? What are the Editions? Anything to tempt me to do more...?
I do think TS, and TSW for that matter, have educational potential. The original Woodhead Line and Settle to Carlisle routes both have scenarios where comments pop up describing the construction and history of the lines but I don't know how widespread that is. There's no such thing for the Weardale and Teesdale which seems an very obvious candidate for such a thing. I recently showed the W&T to someone from the Friends of the Stockton and Darlington Railway and she got very interested in its potential as a publicity and educational tool. Point taken (but- it's 24).
