Tsw2020 Bugged Trophies (new Yorker)

So I'm seeking clarification on what people have done to get the "New Yorker" unlocked when using Long Island Rail Road (LIRR M7 & M3)

My story in my attempt to unlock the trophy:
Last week I was about half way through clearing the M7 timetables when I heard about the method to clear services faster by jumping onto the train as it approaches the final stop, a method mentioned in the trophy guides, which worked by adding a tick icon instead of medals, and the services cleared counter went up. Upon reaching 181 services cleared however no trophy popped up. I tried clearing a couple with the tick the normal way jumped on the M3 for a bit... Nothing, nothing popped up...
I tried deleting the game and installing the base game, made a 2nd in-game profile with a plan to work through the NEC content... But after a couple services I was clawing my brain out with boredom and deleted the game from my console.

Last night it was suggested that I jump into the route and let the game run for a few hours, which I did after I reinstalled the game and LIRR content (both trains), turned off the internet, and logged into the profile I did the M7 with and jumped into free roam and fell asleep (has some weird dream) woke up about 3 hours later and nothing...
So I jumped into a service and left it running... (Had a really weird dream about aliens floating down the track saying something about waiting for power as they floated closer... I then was dreaming that it unlocked the trophy, but when I woke up...)
When I woke up another 4 hours later, still nothing... Although my PS5 was a bit slow. Returned to the game, did more of the M3 journey (noticed two service on the journey showed no tick or medals (even though I have 181/181 services cleared) so gonna try clearing them and see what happens... However I put my console in rest mode and fell back asleep (with no weird dreams thankfully).

Oddly the side effect of leaving the game running must of affected my PS5 as when I turned it on from rest mode I got a blank screen, then a error in system software message and it struggled to turn on... After a power off however it's bk to normal...

But yeah nothing I've done so far has prompted the trophy to unlock and I don't fancy going through it all from scratch because it took me over a year to get as far as I did in the game.

 

I am trying to get this trophy now for the third time. I only have the base TSW2020 installed, now on my PS5, and i have done about half of the ACS-64 services and 2/3 of the GP38-2 services up to now. Fingers crossed it may work this time, it´s the last needed for platinum. Clearly there is nothing wrong with this trophy because 54 out of 5.907 game owners on psnprofiles have got this trophy.

 

Yeah idk why it's not unlocking for me... I'm gonna wipe my save and avoid connecting to dovetail, perhaps do another reinstall without the M3 in the hopes there's less to do on the M7 and try remaining offline every time I run the game to see what happens... It will take months for me to re clear everything, but if it works I'll try finding this thread again and update it.

 

Been there, done that. First time with DLCs, online and on PS4pro. Second try, new Profile, no DLCs, no online, PS4pro. Now, new profile, base game, no online, PS5. If that doesn´t work....

 

Ah, I guess I should just move on to tsw 2 & 3 then, I'd be happy if I could platinum at least one of the games.

 

I see I'm a few years too late for this one. I started tsw2020 back in 2019 but after completing GWR trophies I got tired. 2700 miles of driving was a bit depressing ber the top, not to mention finishing NTP and WSR 100% also.

Currently I'm 50% into the trophies and am clearing the Talent 2 Rapid Transit services. This should get me sifa 500, 442 passanger onboardings and all services on RT or MSB. What will be remaining are trophies related to North American routes.

Regarding your trophy not showing up; Many MANY times I've experienced that trophies, even in TSW2, show much later after you hit the target. Off top of my head; the Class 166 trophy of driving 1660 miles didn't pop immediately for me. I freaked out, but after playing the game further, it just popped up by itself. Most recent one was reaching train operator Level 50 on TSW2. It didn't pop when I reached level 50. It popped when I got to level 52, while I was operating a service.

For my TSW2020 trophy run, I've uninstalled everything, deleted my save on my PS5, created a new account and created a new user.

My question here is, which services are related to New York Foundation? Is this NEC or Peninsula Corridor? So confusing.

Also, with only the base game installed, when I select LIRR I only have M7 available. The route is showing 181 services, but M7 only has 28 services?
