I’d like an 02 without nameplates and 5 digit numbers i.e. a mainland version with standard bunker.

    Nice shots! (As usual.)
I think torfmeister often comments on DTM referencing assets from another pack. Maybe this one also has some requirement?
If you're inquisitive, check its config files, being from 2013 it would likely reference something dated that you'd normally have removed. Such as the Robinson O4.

This reminds me that the download includes both loco and scenarios for IoW. I've not yet checked them out. (There is also a separate, tiny download that corrects one scenario.) I suspect that if CW does indeed create an up-to-date O2, it will likely include pretty much every variant the loco carried, from birth to demise, including "mainland".

I'm sure you are right based on previous experience but currently the IOW extended bunker, named version is the only one that I know to be available.

Driving the UTKS Adams SR O2 0-4-4T remained me that I'd not driven Caledonia Works' Caledonian Railway 439 class 0-4-4T in ages, despite it being a longtime fave. To rectify that, I ran what was intended to be a Stopping Passenger Service QD on Swindon-Gloucester 1950s v1.2 Steam Workshop Route. As it turns out, I stopped at only two interim stations, the rest being deemed too small for the train's length. We see the 439 in heavily weathered LMS Crimson, my favorite of the loco's many livery variants. (I own both the base loco and its add-on pack.) An LMS train is an odd match for Swindon-Gloucester, but none of my several LMS-appropriate routes were as well suited to the sort of run I had in mind:

We need more variants or more freight locomotives, like the DB BR 152 or the Siemens Vectron. Screenshot_Köln to Koblenz_50.42409-7.44652_13-00-26.jpg Screenshot_Bahnstrecke Leipzig-Dresden _51.34391-12.48214_11-19-57.jpg

Images from a stopping passenger service QD on old Portsmouth Direct Line. Motive power is once again a UKTS LSWR/SR O2 class 0-4-4T, now seen in BR Dirty Black.

Only here, well into the run, did I remember to enable the loco's Disk:
The session was saved and terminated at this point, resumed later. I might or might not upload captures from the continued run, if any are presentable. During my previous UKTS O2 post, I state that it includes scenarios of Isle of Wight. This is true. However, I have since discovered that these scenarios are for a UKTS IoW route, not vanilla DTG IoW.

Please :) Your shots are nice, both interesting and inspirational.
(I'm a bit jelly of your antialiasing. I really don't want to mess with my PC but I could definitely use a stronger card. :))

Early this week I got wind of a Caledonia Works sale. I settled on the NER/LNER A class 2-4-2T. Here we see it during its maiden voyage on Yorkshire Dales Railway Steam Workshop Route:

Thanks for the compliment. :) As to GPU, mine is an nVidia GTX1070, still a decent card at 1080p (which my monitor is) but nowhere near state-of-the-art by modern standards. TSC antialising is set in-game to default FXAA. Attempts to bump it up to a more sophisticated setting result in game instability. (I also have RW Enhancer Pro's "FXAA fix" enabled.)

Better late than never! My next weekly :)
Decided to replace most of my E18 shots. Documenting and reminiscing is one, but most of them leave a lot of room for better.
Completely random, but this set transitions nicely from hot summer to drying, cooling, then autumn.

I recently subscribed to Esterdale Narrow Gauge Railway Steam Workshop Route, by the fellow whose Lenton-on-Sea route I've enjoyed for quite some time. The loco is a Wayside Works Barclay Dougal, under-powered for the amount of 2'3" gauge UKTS LMVLR Coaches seen here:

More images from a recent QD passenger run on old Portsmouth Direct Line, motive power supplied by a freeware UKTS Adams 0-4-4T.

Here we see it stopped one station beyond the stop seen in part one's closing image. Between the two, I encountered a lengthy incline-from-hell, taxing both loco and my meager driving skills:

A freeware DT "Midland Misfit" Johnson 4-4-4T in Caledonian Railways Blue boards passengers on a snowy winter morning on GNoSR Steam Workshop route. Alas, this run ended almost as soon as it began, upon discovering that this is a Misfit variant with defective "A" / "D" regulator control. It works properly via F4-slider and manipulation of the cab "physical" regulator by mouse. But I use to A/D, despite being an F4 driver:
A glitch-free "Misfit" in BR Experimental Garter Blue, on West of Scotland Lines:

I begin to suspect that stick-reverser Misfits have glitched regulators, while wheel-reverser Misfits are okay. But I've not yet created enough Misfit QD consists to know for sure.

Another weekend, another steam railtour. This time it's a GWR 'Castle' 4-6-0 from Reading to Bristol via Newbury. The eagle-eyed may spot that the GWR-liveried locomotive is paired with a BR-liveried tender.

    Rapidly descending towards Westbury...
    20220910183427_1.jpg

Followed by a slow trundle around the East Loop line at Westbury, to reach the Avon Valley line for Bath and Bristol.

Yet another DT "Midland Misfit", a Johnson 4-4-4T in Midland Photographic Grey, on North Lincolnshire third-party freeware route. If memory serves, image one shows the train in Lincoln, the run's point-of-origin:

This particular "Misfit" uses a stick reverser, demolishing my theory that all sticks variants have defective A/D reverser control (while wheel reverser variants function properly).

A Wayside Works Beyer "Ilfracombe Goods" 0-6-0 tendered steam locomotive, in plain black livery, hauls coal wagons from Radstock to Frome during a Demonstration Goods run on Alternative North Somerset Railway Steam Workshop route. One climb proved quite a challenge. As great a challenge was a long decline, the loco having no train brake, thus relying on its handbrake (and at one point putting the reverser in reverse and cranking up the regulator. Only after the fact did I recall that I might have utilized the brake van:

All these are from early in the (relatively short) run. I grabbed a number of captures beyond this point. All were found wanting, and unceremoniously deleted.

A DT Johnson 4-4-4T in North Stafffordshire Railway livery, hauling a rake of Wayside Works NSR carriages, is seen departing Carlisle Station, just prior to closing cylinder drain cocks on a snowy winter morn. (Settle to Carlisle DTG route.)

Strange as it might seem, I find myself viewing this image, full-screen, for minutes at a time. It affects me somehow, as no other TS capture of mine has, nice as some of them are. That said, I readily admit to a certain positive bias towards it.
