I was really positivley surprised to find out that the Cajon Pass BNSF Grain Hoppers also substitute in on Oakville Subdivision trains now. The CSX Sand Patch stuff always has I believe, but this adds another great little bit of immersion. If the DTG guys are reading this, I would love to know if this substitution could be possible on the US routes as well in the future. Especially Sand Patch Grade, or any of the Autorack trains. I know you can do it with collectors club liveries too, but I had a bunch of issues with crashes on my PS4 Pro using that content so I was happy to see it’s possible in the game itself too (on one route at least)
Oakville, uniquely, has always freely substituted any and all NA freight stock. A shame this can't be rolled out to the other NA routes.
Oakville had always had the ability to substitute stock from other NA routes it's nothing new. The problem is when it does this. Every single car shows up empty or something like that. Matt could probably explain it better.
Will agree with this thought, now that DTG has agreements with all 4 major US railroads, we should be able to see CSX and NS rolling stock on CP and SH.
Is there a list anywhere of which dlc adds layers to which routes? I’m holding off on doing too much on the 3 new routes until I’ve got all the relevant dlc downloaded (I’m on PlayStation so have to wait until the 20th for it all to be available), but I don’t honestly know comprehensively what dlcs I need to get the most out of each route.
