A couple of things I have noticed recently.

Firstly, starting a reply with “Hey”. JD does this a lot and so do other members. Probably my age but this seems a bit rude to me.

Secondly, people quote an earlier post and just write “This” after it. Again, maybe I’m getting past my prime (OK, I’ve got past it) but it seems a bit superfluous.

Anyway, it’s gone 7pm so it’s cocoa and bed for me :o

I get shudders when every instruction in TSW3 says STOP IN LOCATION instead of STOP AT LOCATION. Considering each stopping point is exactly that, a specific point, it is very difficult to stop in it but rather easy to stop at it. On the railways all locations are an ‘at’ not an ‘in’. Even in normal everyday speak you may say to someone that you are stopping in London but you would stay to a taxi driver to stop at the Natural History Museum.

One that really grinds me down is when people say gotten. That sends a real shiver down my spine.

What I can't stand are corporate buzz-speak non-words like "learnings" and "trainings". People at work say them when they want to appear smart (often higher-ups), though I think it simply betrays the fact that they have a limited vocabulary and a more limited command of the language than should be allowed for people in their positions.

Hey is basically another friendly way of saying hi
And people writing ‘this’ is basically them agreeing , but feeling it isn’t necessary to write any more
