Any reason the scale of the train crew has changed (at least on the US Freight trains)? It seems like their scale was greatly reduced in TSW 3. They are way too small/short now. Any way to add back in the old crew?

    TSW 2 in Pic# 1 and TSW 3 in Pic# 2

Photos from inside the cab would probably be better for confirming if the scale actually has changed.

Probably not their physical size/scale, just their chair being lower in this locomotive, I would assume?

Loco seat should be the same though. They look physically smaller as well. :/

Why should it be the same? I assume these are adjustable seats in real life, so it's up for the developer what height they are in game.

Again, I don't know for sure if this is the reason, it's just a guess.

I feel like the only reasons they look smaller in the BNSF photo is because:

    - Seats are lower in the ES44C4 compared to the AC4400CW
    - BNSF photo is taken further away from the locomotive compared to the CSX photo

Its definitely not the distance, the height itself is quite a bit different.

Not sure why a train crew would lower the seat so they can barely see over the dash (tbh, Im not even sure if the seat can be lowered). The one I sat in definitely wasnt like this. My wife sat in one of these seats and she was quite a bit higher above the dash than in this pic and she's 5'7. The train engineer was around 6 ft.

Also, look at their scale compared to the door in the nose.

Looks really odd. It kind of looks like little kids are in the train. :/

    Here's a better pic (height wise) :)

Definitely looks closer to the TSW 2 pic

Screenshots are taken at different distances, with different FOV, so the character sizes are different. But when I compare the size of the charactars with how much of seat and rear window they cover, it looks to me that only the seating position got lowered.

Considering there are no changes to other character models, I really doubt DTG changed anything.

They are the same size. A little lower in the cab but the same size people.

Seems mostly to be seat height by the looks of it. Maybe a dash of camera angle not being identical.

How do you guys find some of this stuff? :D
I think DTG have bigger things to invest time into.
More importantly, is the potentially lower seat really an issue? Looks like the crew can see clearly to me.

It's the visuals that get noticed. :)
