Tsw3 Should Introduce Ai Horn Use

We've asked about this from the start, and now we're on the "3rd" gen.. I don't think this would take a ton to get working. Anyone else still interested in this?

If I remember correctly, on the West Cornwall local, class08 has AI horns. I don't know why they don't use it anywhere else..

 

I think the 08 is the same as the 33, gives a quick blast of the horn every time it moves.

 

I think the 40s do it as well.

 

They could start with the American routes such as Harlem where you honk at each station, see if it's possible to do and then expand if viable.

 

I would say yes but not above tunnel etc. reverb in the priority list (if there even is a sounds priority list).

 

Right, it's not the first audio fix I'd want done, but it would certainly add something to immersion.

 

Id actually put AI horns as a higher priority to reverb personally as I think it would add more immersion across more routes, especially US routes. Not saying I dont want reverb just not as much as this.

 

Anything that adds to immersion is welcome.

Remember the pleasure of bird song in TS and the chickens in the Firth of Forth route.
