Note: we are still planning a patch this week, pending final testing.

Information on Scenarios/services for the pack (will add this to the second post in the thread):
    • Scenarios: 3 scenarios for each core route. 3 for the RHTT on SEHS, 3 for the 182 on KWG, and 3 for the F7 on Cajon. So 9 scenarios all together.
    • Timetables: All trains layer onto existing timetables, no second timetables created.
    • Services:
      • The RHTT adds 16 playable services and 20 AI services all for September - November months only. And also some static "stored" RHTT wagons during the other months where RHTT operations are not required.
      • The 182 adds about 10 drivable services to Kassel's timetable (1-2 AI services)
      • The F7 adds 18 drivable services to the Cajon timetable (no AI)

Perfect in the JD tests, we are looking forward to it...

I just read the article, I found it very interesting, but it's not something that I'm thinking of acquiring, given that here in Brazil the price and the conversion from BRL to USD hurts my pocket, but I hope that those who enjoy it can buy and to enjoy.

$13.99 for repainted trains, a couple of scenarios and a timetable? Not interested in this cash grab. Sorry to the supporters who don't like hearing that word or can't handle hearing an different opinion

At least the patches that were supposed to release last week are in testing so hopefully they won't come out with issues

I see this as similar to the scenario packs from tsc. If it's interesting enough and worth it to me, definitely picking it up.

DTG doing new things is too much work. Recycling content is much easier and cheaper. A quick way to make a buck.

It would be a miracle if we got a dlc that came with brand new trains and not revisions of a train already in the game

Looking tasty. What will be the usability of F7 for CJP? Scenario only or what? The current timetable as substitution?

    I'll summarise it here:

(these are all on TSW3 routes)
    • All have new tutorials in the Training Center
    • RHTT has new services and new scenarios
    • F7 has a new layer with new services, along with scenarios
    • 182 has new services and scenarios

The ATSF F7s are cool, but they should include a full Super Chief passenger consist and some period-accurate ATSF freight equipment and a caboose. I would have preferred a BNSF GP60/GP60M/GP60B, SD70ACe, or C44-9W for Cajon because they would have fit better in the time period.

I’d settle for a chief rail excursion tour in each direction on the timetable and a scenario.

I have to ask the inevitable questions for us #longsufferingPS5players

How Big is the DLC pack in size?
I am pretty much full for DLC on the PS5 (PS4 version and series X version is fine), I mean I had to Shoehorn GWE and ECW in onto The PS5 version so will this fit? (I will let you know my PS5 DLC size later).

The most important thing is, Old F7 + modern setting route + modern rolling stocks, a big no no. It's a jab for american trains enthusiast tbh.

I don't care about F7 with freight cars but not modern rolling stocks like hi-height boxcar. What about bringing the old boxcars from clinchfield and skins them in atsf or any other railroad of the 70's.

It doesn't appear according to the article that it will run with the old boxcars from Clinchfield.

Will the locomotives be available seperately for those who have bought the standard edition of TSW3, or just for the owners of the regional editions?

Once I get the New Journeys expansion pack which I already own available once again I'll consider purchasing this. But the fact that it seems like we've been told a lie when we've been told that the only reason it's not available already is that the commercial team was concentrating on getting the existing DLC out but yet have had time to get this out is nothing but a kick in the teeth.

For me this is unnecessary, because I have a BR 182 from RT and from Hamburg-Lübeck and I can just use the livery designer and bam.

I am not really interested in the other locos

That's because it is a cash grab. Someone can easily repaint these trains in the livery designer and it's just the same trains that are already in the game

12 quid for 3 reskins. Not a new route, not a new loco, just 3 skins for locos already released. Lazy money grab

As dtg_jd would say, there are just things that are higher prioritized, such as pulling money out of customers' pockets again.

Fixes for TSW 2 are pending for over a year (like Achievements, DLC-Manager), TSW 3 runs more badly than right, for example now an improvised save function is added before one then develops a real one.

To release a game without a save function at all is ridiculous.

And instead of focusing on the problems and keeping the promises, a new DLC pack is released a few weeks after the release of the "finished game", i.e. the one without the save function and the add-on manager.

With three locomotives that already existed before, but with a new look, timetable and scenarios. The question is why such a DLC is prioritized higher than fixing TSW 2 and TSW 3 and why the content of this DLC was not included in the recently released tracks anyway ?

Answer: Pulling money out of customers' pockets for already sold items is always higher for DTG than releasing promised fixes.

And another 182 in just another livery? Not for me, sorry. A Vectron or sonething like BR 140 would have been something to buy…

I have mixed feelings on this one.

A new livery for the 182 and added services on SKW, and the RTT services (with a new piece of rolling stock) on SEHS seem like decent additions.

The SF F7 is puzzling to me- as much as I love the iconic livery, it's just completely out of place on the modern Cajon route. Without a separate vintage timetable with appropriate rolling stock it seems pointless and even more than that makes me question buying the whole package because presumably there's no way to turn off the F7 layer on Cajon.

Seems like DTG felt they had to add SOMETHING to the US route- i'd argue a reskin of the AC4400CW or SD70ACE in BNSF would be a better choice.

Honestly i feel like DTG are really lacking expertise or something on US content- the UK and German releases seem to be given a lot more care and thought to them

Edit: looks like the individual pieces are available separately, so i might get the SEHS and see what people think of the other 2 before making up my mind.

Far more better, it would give us more power variety & challenge because different engines behave differently.

The F7 does look completely out of place and feels like it was a desperate attempt by DTG do add something for Cajon

What do you mean when you say the F7 has "a new layer"? Do you mean a new timetable?

You guys know what funnier thing is. The Bundle Pack included a heavily weathered EWS Class 66. Did they know that someone already done it and share it on Train Sim Community??? Yeah i know modding only benefits PC player, but i think it's proove the bundle pack kind of unnecessary.

The gameplay aspect with F7 on the hot steep grade seems more than OK but, like most of you already niticed, this is misaliance at best.
