    To save a game:

Press escape to reach the pause men
    Select options with the mouse
    Select save with the mouse
    Acknowledge save
Press escape again to close the pause menu

So this adds up to five, one more than in TSW2. WHY? Can we please get a one step game save function, for example by binding it to a key? This is poor UI design.

I am grateful we have it back, but this really sucks. DTG Protagonist please help us here!
On the other hand, resuming the last game is now super simple and better than it used to be.

I would caution, though, that it's current location seems to be temporary until it's reimplemented properly.

A save game key bind on PC is a good idea. Perhaps a function key, as many keys are taken up by other actions. Or make it customisable, so long as conflicts with other key assignments can be avoided.

Yes at first I hit Esc and thought, okay you muppets where’s the save game then? On a hunch I hit options and there it was. Is it really beyond the wit of the UI/programming team to put it where it was, or even better enable F2 which we can hit from within the actual gameplay screen to save.

I guess we should be grateful and not churlish (Stockholm Syndrome?) that it’s finally back, but it could be in a better place.

Agree. Save should be easy and quick and not hidden deep down in the menus.

I'll pass this onto the UI team - this was a temporary measure to ensure we could get it out as quickly as possible though.
