1) Unable to take "in cab" or "from cab" photos anymore. Only out of cab photo ability. And sometimes that doesn't work as usual. 2) Where'd the boom cameras go? My out of cab movement is very limited. Impossible to get wide angle distance shots like this. Bring the front, rear, and free roam booms back! 3) Out of cab default position (head out right) requires mirror click access highlight moved closer to locomotive as it is in your sight line and annoying unless you move view further outwards or look farther right. Shouldn't have to do that IMO. Also, instructions for screen / railfan shots in the Contest threads is wrong. Holding X does not capture anything.
This is annoying and totally unnecessary as having the mirror fold out is pretty useless as a feature anyway. I believe it’s only on certain versions of the SD40-2 (the latest versions) and would have easily been missed in testing as testing on console is still rather limited. The selection point for the mirror seems to be static and doesn’t follow the mirror like the selection point for the window blinds and other moveable objects in other locos do.
