I tried it ten times now, I always get stuck at the point where the game says "Use the brake to slow down your train", but when I use the break to slow down or completely stop at different positions in the train station, nothing happens, my task is stuck at slow down the train. In TSW 2 this worked
Is that the one for Koln Achen? If so for some bonkers reason the stop marker disappears about 100m away from it and this has been posted earlier I do believe.
Same on PS5 it is broken as well. A few meters before stopping it just stays at "Station Approaching" "Use the Power/Brake handle to slow the train down."
Use your brains, the instruction to start braking is not timed very accurately. Keep some speed till you hit the stop marker. You can see this in two ways: Have a look at the objective and make sure the distance is reduced to max 2 m before you actually stop. The other way is to look at the tracks. I think in the tutorial you see colours, make sure to stop in the green area, or if you see a gleamy blue thing on track, make sure to hit this.
The problem is that the marker at the station disappears completely. No "Stop" marker, no colored blocks. Regardless where you stop, the objective remains the same, and tutorial cannot be completed.
No need to be like this. On current version 1.35 of the PS, the sector coloring is missing. If I stop at the location that was there prior to it disappearing it will not trigger. I tried moving a meter or two at a time to get the trigger. But it just stays at the same. Look at this video it is how it is supposed to be. If I can I will make a video to show the difference. To test this I used the distance to the next signal (red 107 meters) as reference and stopped at 109 moving up to 100 in steps. Around 2:35 you should see the coloring on the rail
Can confirm, same issue on PlayStation 5 with the BR 442 Introduction from the Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen Route. Has been posted before but was completely ignored by the community. Glad to see it's finally gaining some traction. It's a bug, not a player issue. The objective marker disappears when approaching the station thus making it impossible to complete the objective and continue.
Just to confirm, we have this issue on record thanks to previous player reports. However, at this time, we do not have any updates or workarounds. We will continue to chase this and other issue with the team, as introduction should be fully operational as a priority.
Not a very big priority then as this issue has been around since the game launched SIX months ago! These issues are the same as the 187 and 143 achievements from 2. One of which took over a year to be fixed and the other one we're still waiting to be fixed!
I’m new to xbox all together. Just bought my xbox a this week. I like trains so I bought TSW 2&4. I’m still on training. I played the scenario at least 3 times and got stucked too on the 4th try I waited for a few minutes and the game resumed. But during the wait time, I was roaming outside the loco and noticed doors were open. I closed both doors. After awhile like I said the game resumed but I couldn’t moved the loco so I reset all the controls. The circuit breaker needed reset and I regained control of the loco and completed the tasks. This was the Introduction to br442.
For me this journey has been broken since TSW3, but after installing TSW4 I was able to complete it just fine as the marker is back as it should be. This was on PC BTW.
