So I used to run with the objective marker off, so I didn’t have a floating stop marker on screen as well as the blue ‘witches hat’ marker at the station or at a stopping point.

However, after the recent update, what seems to have happened is the prompts from the scenario set up such as ‘turn battery to on’ for example which would still show you the location of the battery switch has now gone too and seems to now be attached to this setting when it hadn’t been previously.

The objective marker has always done that. It turns itself on for tutorials (and you then need to turn it off again yourself) but for scenarios it follows the settings you have chosen, and always has. It’s not new.

Now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it.

Just tried it on TSW 2 on the same scenario and you are absolutely correct!.

We need an option to turn off the on screen distant marker, but keep the actual up close markers in place. I’ve raised this more than once, but that change to the UI isn’t forthcoming (yet).
