PlayStation Warning Horn Button On Console Controller

I know how to operate these things maually on the dash, but am I missing something when using L3 on the controller or is it only possible to sound a one pitch warning?

 

No, you’re not missing anything. A full two tone warning is only possible by manual activation in the cab.
