German product’s discounted on a Steam sale. https://store.steampowered.com/sear...&specials=1&publisher=Dovetail+Games+-+Trains Admittedly not as generous a discount as in the past. Sale ends Monday October 10th
They are a large selection of RSSLO's products on Steam. A mix of German. Austrian and Slovenian! Some are at a much better discount than recently run by RSSLO on their website.
This can use context. Note the "Click here" button doesn't work here, this is an image copy and paste from e-mail. As for the Worth Valley pack, it's here.
I bought a few of these during the sale and I am enormously impressed by the quality. I wish there were more scenarios, but the workshop fills in some of those gaps. Tremendous job RSSLO.
Prepare your wallets and note the date! https://prepareyourwallet.com/ The next Steam sale is less than a week away from October 25th at 19.00 UTC to November 1st The attached website will also give you unconfirmed dates if the next three sales. One each month until the end of January 2023
As I've been doing so much decorating, including risking my neck on a ladder painting our staircase, persuaded the wife a Steam voucher might be nice! After suggesting a clip around the ear more likely, she wilted and I've now got a nice bit of credit sitting on there ready...
I wouldn't expect many Train Simulator DLCs discounted during that time. A couple of years ago it was just The Count of Monster Disco that was discounted. Anyway, a bigger one, when there's much higher chance for all the DLCs being discounted, Autumn Sale is not far away, starting 22 November 2022, until 29 November 2022, and then the Winter Sale is a month later (22 December 2022 to 5 January 2023).
Bossman Games Halloween sale now on until October 31st up to 50 % off. https://m.facebook.com/100028472965131 https://www.bossmangames.co.uk/
If I recall correctly though, Dovetail did their own Monster Mash Halloween sale on the DTG store separately that did include a lot of sale items. Though, it looks like there still is no DTG store...so maybe they'll participate more in the Steam sale.
DTG could still be working on their store page to open it up again soon. Jamie confirmed on the Flying Scotsman stream that it is still a work in progress.
I have been really intrigued about this, does anyone know what happened? I wanted to go check out the store one day and the website did not respond. I was going to make a thread about it but I did not see anyone else talking about it so I thought it must have been a problem on my side.
It's been down and known about since August.. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/dovetail-store-down-for-extended-maintenance.57631/
Just buy on Steam, anyway. For me, it's more expensive geting the same sale on the DTG store directly, so better discounts would be needed to deal with the worse currency result.
Halloween Sale at Searchlight Simulations (US Stock) started. Also some really good Freeware to get there. Locos at around 25% and Sound/Enhancement Packs at 50%. https://www.store.searchlight-simulations.com/products
Swiss routes, locos, enhancement & scenario packs are now discounted for a week on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/search/?specials=1&franchise=Train+Simulator
At the risk of repeating a post in the TSW section, wonder if there will be a more general sale of TSC products given Steam appear to be dictating a "spooky" connection/condition for inclusion?
hm, i hope that dtg is still participating in the halloween sale starting tomorrow, but i almost dont think so reading this.
This appears to be a Rivet Games sale, specifically. Three of their TSW items are also discounted, such as the S3 from Dresden to Chemnitz. And frankly, I'd like to see a modern TS version of that and the rest of the Dresden S-Bahn...
As we know, the Steam sale begins shortly at 17.00 UTC 6pm UK tonight. If the discounts are not to your liking, remember there will be other sales, notably the Black Friday Sale in a months time, the Christmas Sale in two months time and the January Sale in three months time. The starting dates are not yet confirmed by Steam but you can keep an eye on this website for more information. https://prepareyourwallet.com
Unless there's more to come, nothing gone on general sale, just the Rivet/Thomson Swiss stuff which had already been discounted. Maybe something will add later on but rather disappointing.
OV. Most reports on the internet say October 25th but I found this stating October 28th. https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/steam-sale-2020-schedule However the Steam website was unavailable at 6pm so perhaps there is a problem. In any case I am certain there will be a lot more sale items before this month is over. One thing to note is last year the Steam Halloween sale started on the 28th and lasted three days, so maybe this Thursday. We shall see.
Well, there is nothing more discounted during the sale today, not even The Count of Monster Disco, just some Halloween stuff for other games. :P
Well worst case scenario is wait another month for the Thanksgiving Sale. Still plenty to do in both sims. However might be right about the 28th, Steam sales starting on a Thursday does ring a bell.
I still feel there will be a sale later this week, but cannot confirm, just a gut feeling. However the Black Friday sale next month will have larger discounts. I will only be buying some locos and marketplace items this month anyway. May also buy the CSX Hanover Subdivision bundle if the discount is right. Looking at a couple of other items outside of trains, but happy to wait whatever.
Further to my post above, it seems that DTG has not engaged in a full sale in this year’s Steam Halloween event. https://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamworks/announcements/detail/3404177923749444204 Whether that changes towards the weekend remains to be seen but it’s seems pretty doubtful and the Swiss related items sale is all we will get until the end of November. I will use my wallet elsewhere this month.
Rather a shame, I have at least a couple of items I wanted to get for TSW and TSC but not at full price. They have kind of shot themselves in the foot by not coming up with a premise to put stuff in the sale. That said, there doesn't seem to be much going on other transport related stuff either.
Oldvern it's some good third party websites out there where they sell Trains Simulator Classic dlc and Train Sim Worl too here is 2 sites and they are having a sale too https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/search/?q=train+simulator https://www.eneba.com/gb/store/train-simulator-2021-steam-key-global-dlcs Bought dlc from above sites with no trouble at all in the past
Thanks for the links, although with £70 sat in my Steam Wallet ready and waiting was hoping for something more direct!
Hope you don't mind me asking but how do you get Steam Wallet credit? I keep searching around and can't find any UK retailers that sell it online.
I buy the £20 gift cards in Asda or Sainsburys actual shop (you scratch off the back to reveal the input code). I've also seen the £10 cards in Wilkinsons. Tesco, Waitrose, Aldi etc. don't seem to stock them. It's a fairly painless way to accumulate a bit of credit from spare cash, prior to a sale or big release, with the advantage the wife can't complain about how much I spend on the hobby if I used the debit card direct.
Go on to the Steam Wallet page and you can add a fixed amount https://store.steampowered.com/steamaccount/addfunds It will be charged the same way as DLC Purchase - PayPal in my case.
Yes there is a advantage to having funds stored in your steam wallet. It will allow to purchase something down the road when you may not have the funds at that to do so. I always keep money in my steam wallet just for that reason.
As stated above. Also means if I'm passing Asda or Sainsburys and have £20 spare cash I can grab a card and quietly add funds to the account whereas if I chinged it with the debit card, would get raised eyebrows from SWNBO!
Thanks Guys for responding. I budget by using Pay Pal Credit. Spread the payments over 3 or 4 months with no charge.
3DZug have an upcoming sale tomorrow which should last the weekend. 33% off as far as I could tell from their facebook and their last big sale this year apparently.
Which is the best way to do it, can't spend steam wallet money on AP, ATS or any of the other plethora of decent 3rd party devs
They have sold product this year. Do you mean discounts instead? They participated in the summer sale, but I have most of what I need for now, so haven't played close attention.
