I am suggesting the BR 1440 and 3429 for Rhein Ruhr Osten which will be a great addition to the route along with a new timetable that Supports ICE layers including the BR 401, 403 and 406 along with IC services using the BR 101 and dosto services driven by the cab car. The loco examples below: BR 3429 BR 1440
Excellent Idea and for the 3429 those are now run by Deutsche Bahn due to Abellio NRW Bankruptcy. on the other hand DB1440 can layer to HRR and Tharandter Rampe. Announcer voices 3429 Helga Bayertz like HMA DB BR423 1440 Ingo Ruff same as a 422 425 442 1442 612 & Dostos. Here's a Video on the DB BR 3429/DB BR1429 on HRR/RRO Own RRO with 1440 then have Tharandter Rampe you are going to simply weave in and out behind the S-Bahn Trains or some cases go ahead of them
I didn't realise Abellio NRW went bankrupt, (I'm still learning about German trains). And the Abellio picture was the best example I could show for the BR 3429. And with the BR 1440 layering onto Tharandter Rampe... the ones that operate between Chemnitz and Dresden in real life use a silver/platinum livery instead of the DB red livery but with livery designer, that won't be a problem.
Would be cool! Both in a 2021/2022 timetable would be cool, some newer stock on that route would be cool and we could see the 1440 maybe also layer on SKA in Aachen? [correct me if i'm wrong, i know they run there these days].
Correct but DTG doesn't have a Veolia Transdev Licence for the Silver Paint DB BR1440. Therefore the RRO version must layer in to DCZ for those that want a 2022 Tharandter Rampe
Correct and for DTG the 442s belong to National Express group which requires a separate license. RRO 2022 version ICE 1 ICE 3 ICE Linee 10 & 43 S-Bahn Rhein Ruhr DB Baureihe 1440 and has DCZ HRR destinations making it layer to Tharandter Rampe and Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr Freight G6 185.5 185.2 442 RE7 DB Baureihe 146.2 112 143 RE4
the DB ones would make a decent substitute as is (and personally I don't like the private operators so happy to seem them there permanently)
Which route should substitute that 442 into Rhein Ruhr Osten? If that were to happen The 442 must alternate between a 146 143 112 RE7 Rheine service
