I was thinking of something tied to an single unit for example the trainbow on SHES, or the ACS64 TSW2 livery. We could have seen BR blue 313201 (if loco DLC mastery was a thing)

I'm please that the route features Birmingham New Street. Can't understand why DTG like to keep these routes secret though. I would of thought engaging with the community might throw up some mistakes etc but oh well.

I still haven't bought TSW3 as I didn't want any of the routes bundles with it but if they bundled this route with TSW3 I could be tempted. Not sure if this route is DTG or Rivet but I really hope it is busy and has more than one train. Is there any hint on what the other UK route could be?

Seeing as it’s being made by Rivet, I have a high feeling it’ll be some sort of modern commuter Scottish route.

    Yup!
In my opinion: Switch around the mastery level rewards. Level 1 now awards you the scenery asset, and Level 2 gives you the decals. This way, people who don’t care about Livery Designer (presumably a wide majority of the players) don’t have to unlock the decal rewards first to get to the scenery assets (which actually improve the route).

If you are talking about passengers, probably cuz bml doesn't have rush hour passengers. If it's the assets, then it's probably time limitations or they don't have assets or are able to see what the placement of objects looks like irl. They use like google maps and photos and stuff and they might be different from in real life. Like the exact position of everything, etc. If it's the colors, then it's down to the lighting that isn't that great or shadows, graphics, etc. There will always be inaccuracies and some places will feel odd lol

I wonder what the Rivet Games Route will be?
I think it'll be in Scotland.
Maybe Glasgow to Alloa via Stirling?

Thought it has been hinted at 25kv AC overhead. Which in all likelihood means North Clyde or part thereof or, God help us, modern Queen Street to Edinburgh.

A modern Edinburgh to Glasgow via Falkirk wouldn't be too bad, as long as they don't remix the Class 395 sounds onto a Class 385.

My understanding is that they've teased it will include a Class 385 and Partick station - make of that what you will.

Ehhh, not my cup of tea. I know other people wanted to see more ScotRail though, so this seems like a good move.

Another empty route potentially unless the 314 is used....

I was thinking about Cathcart Circle recently and realised had they set it mid to late 80s it could have had 47s on hauled trains and 101s on suburban stuff 100% correct for the era and the 314 could have been in Orange/Black or Blue Grey. This constant desire for recent years meant the route came out and feels ridiculous in the Glasgow Central area.

The station image is from TS. They constantly post those old WIP-images around.

And someone proposed the Class 385, and as for each proposition they answered they would love to make it.

    No real teaser there.

Cathcart is a bit of a ghost town, I pop back to it occasionally but it reminds me as a kid of having a trainset, a loop and only one train. Short lived fun.....

The runs out to Neilston and Newton are slightly better but the loop itself is like doing a bus service. At least with Cross City as I said previously there are a few opportunities to get a bit of speed up. Even the old Tynemouth Loop either DMUs or Metro has stations further apart than Cathcart!

I think the most important thing that I hope they include and dont overlook it is a fully working GSMR radio!!!

I’m looking forward to New Street, but it’s going to look barren with only the WMR trains. I pray they add some CrossCountry stock (plus the Wolverhampton branch to give it a reason to exist) just to make it come alive. Heck, I’d even take some unlicensed XC-esque stuff so it doesn’t feel as empty as it well might.

Doubt it to be honest. And i would also prefer that the PS5 DLC limit for TSW 3 is finished and released before anymore DLC is rleased, but that aint gonna happen.

LOL Avanti, cos I want to be delayed all the time. Joking aside I'd love more stuff like the WCML or the North Wales Coast Line to Holyhead.

I would venture to suggest that all DLС announced in the roadmap will be announced and released before the new year.

Hey! What's wrong with Queen Street to Edinburgh?! That's one of my favourite routes. I'd love to see a class 385. It sounds likely especially since they hinted at making a Class 385

Nothing wrong with the route, just prefer the diesel era - preferably push pull 27's or 47's though would take a decently done 158 (which probably rules out Rivet!!).

The new route is the Birmingham Cross City line. The achievements were leaked on steam. End of speculation :)

Hopefully we'll get it in 2-3 weeks? Definitely hyped for this. Hopefully they'll be some depot moves, maybe even an extra bit of network? But I doubt it for the later. Hopefully some updated speed signs with the correct font this time?

What about a class 126 in the Sc79xxx series pre 1972? That would cause a storm of resentment that is for sure!

The depot is on the New Street to Wolverhampton line at Soho. It would be nice if it was included but being DTG they don't often add many divergences away from the main route. I am sure the TSC version does't contain it.

I would take anything up to 1994 with 1990 to 1994 bottom of the list, anything after is another 1 handled snoozefest...

Well I suspect this is going to be a DTG route not a Rivet route as DTG have recently made it for TSC. I would be happy to be proved wrong however.

LOL as would the Bubble Car.

One thing you could not do with a pre 1990's train coming into the station is snooze unlike todays modern stuff. There were Boys in 1980's (even more popular in the decades before) still being excited by trains and were there on the platform checking off their numbers. I would think that is very rare today.

You would also have a white knuckle ride down the bank through Queen Street Tunnel and pray the brake blocks on the loco weren't reminiscent of razor blades!

I always think of those passengers getting on the Tube going to Moorgate after that disaster, surely you must have felt some relief when you got safely there.

Memory is hazy now, but I'm almost certain when I first did the West Highland in 1978 via the overnight from Euston, the portion with the sleepers and two day coaches was propelled down the bank from Cowlairs into Queen Street to go on top of the internal Scottish stock forming the other portion, which detached at Fort William and went onto Mallaig. That must be correct as the sleeping cars were on the front heading out of Queen Street.
