Hi @D T G A new year is coming, we are at autumn and soon will be winter...and as you know the TSW3 scenario planer still only knows summer no matter what date is selected! This is a major issue and takes major fun away from the Scenario Planer. Such a issue should not exist in 2023 for a game released in 2022

Some news on Scenario Planner 2 would be nice. We are getting more routes, more trains but no better means of mixing and matching to our own designs - including seasons.
I would not be surprised if even Matt himself can't explain why they made it summer (June) only. Strange decision
Scenario Planner is a project that DTG started and haven’t yet followed through on it. There are many limitations worse than the time of year being the same. Right from the start we were told it was just the first version and that it would be developed and improved as time goes on but all it has had so far is a UI change for TSW3. The functionality is still limited and tied to what the route makers put in as potential services known as paths. As far as I can tell not much thought even goes into that as the paths are often wrong and stopping points mixed up on release. Just changing it so that the seasons can be changed is not really worth it, the whole thing needs a revamp based on all the feedback that was given in the early days of its existence as to what it needs to be able to do, and then the route makers need to take more care when putting in the paths and the placement of stopping markers etc. The promised Scenario Planner 2.0 no less.
Indeed, we need nothing less than full access to the takeout and spawning portals plus the ability to define our own paths. Oh and a consist editor. Basically what we had in MSTS 21 years ago! (Where you could also define the seasons and weather conditions).
The question should be how long would it take to change the weather in scenario planner and the month that the scenario is set. I was surprised that when this first came out in tsw2 that you couldn't change anything related to the weather
I used to lower the temperature with unreal unlocker. But it seems to crash the game lately. Either dtg is waiting because they have big plans with scenarioplanner 2, or they are interested to give only a minimum of options to players.
The workaround always only worked for weather but never for season. Set it to Januar and the snow will melt in a few minutes
