After turning the AFB ON (while driving) the train starts to brake, despite moving below the preset speed. The problem disappears after adding power.

Perhaps this is one of the long list of old BR 182 global bugs. I don't know. I'm just reporting. BR o7

I think you should enable AFB only when trhe train is completely stopped. (0 km/h)

It is the best ways to do this, but sometimes it is "required" to do it on the move.
The "on the move" case is broken :) BR o7

Ok I thought AFB can not work if the train is in movement. but I m not an expert.

    The procedure is:

    1. Throttle to OFF
    2. AFB lever to max.
    3. AFB to ON.
    4. AFB lever to designated speed.
    5. Throttle to ON

    BR :)

As far as I know this is only a problem of the Dispolok 182. For me this also happens of I adjust the AFB to a lower speed. For example if I drive at 80 km/h and the AFB is set to 90 km/h and I adjust the AFB to 80 km/h the loco Starts to break, which the DB 182 and the MRCE 182 don‘t do. I don‘t know if it is supposed to do so, but for me ist doesn‘t feel right.

Sifa light is broken, sifa sound it’s a bit low, train brake release behavior it’s different from original 182 and 182 MRCE it takes too much time to release completely but not sure if it’s normal. For me wheels are not totally over the rail but inside the rail compared to other locos/wagons, but could be a wrong perception
