Given that the Reading to Paddington route is already built (For GWR) Paddington on to Shenfield is only another 38 miles (About 61 KM) a hand full of that is underground in tunnels. This would add 18 New stations (Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Farringdon, Liverpool Street, Whitechapel, Stratford, Maryland, Forest Gate, Manor Park, Ilford, Seven Kings, Goodmayes, Chadwell Health, Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Park, Brentwood & Shenfield) Also added would be the Class 345 Aventra in Elizabeth Line Livery. Yes a new Paddington area would need to be build (Since Crossrail trains operate in tunnels between Paddington and Whitechapel) Tossing Heathrow into the mix in theory wouldn't be that hard, since going down to Heathrow everything after Hayes & Harlington is in tunnels. Notice how I've left Abby Wood out, as I'm typing this Abby Wood isn't open nor is the central area of the Elizabeth Line so rather than go and try to figure out if its logistically possible to add on Abby Wood myself, I'll let the reader decide that.

Nice idea. The core between Paddington to Liverpool Street is still not in operation yet as I think they have software issues with the in cab signalling. It isn’t likely to be fixed any time soon either so your idea is rather ambitious. If you want your idea to be implemented, either one of the following could happen:

    1. Traction add on Class 345 for Paddington to Reading (Class 345s usually use platform 11 at Paddington) OR
    2. Brand new route: London Liverpool Street to Shenfield with Class 345 and maybe another traction OR
    3. Traction and Route add on for Hayes to Heathrow airport with Class 345, Class 360 and Class 332

They use Old Oak Common as the maintenance depot so maybe they could expand the area (not the same as the HST depot but near it). Class 345s also use Maidenhead sidings.

Personally, I don’t think they will touch the GWE route but it’s a nice idea.

A Fantastic idea, now that the Elizabeth line is fully open, and a great opportunity for so many scenarios and further DLC's.

I am not really experienced in using forums, and possibly like most us older fogies not really up on the jargon and the like.

So to clarify, I was just reading through the threads to see if the topic had been brought up, it was, and just commented on it, and not as it states in the rules now I have read them, "for the sole purpose of keeping certain posts near the top"...

So I am now asking for your guidance, would I have been better off creating a new post regarding the same topic as I am keen on seeing the addition of the route to TSW3?

Yea, that would have been better than responding to a forum post that has been "dead" for 2 years. Just trying to be helpful rather than being mean if I came out that way when I replied to you.
