Been having a problem with this service as in the throttle is stuck or locked. It does not respond at all. I am on Xbox One S

When spawning into this service you are placed in an SD40 that may or may not be running but requires setting up. There is no brake air, and once you go through your set up it can eventually be coaxed to build the air but takes about 20 minutes. During this time while checking all the other controls multiple times it is noticed that the throttle does not do anything at all. Like it is locked in idle.
Once your air is up and all controls and breakers checked and set up to "go"... again -- still no throttle at all.
The brakes all function, but air is extremely slow to build. All other controls work too. Just no throttle. So basically, you are stuck there like a dead fish on land. I've tried this service 4 times now and it's always the same.

This is not the only service on Clinchfield that seems broken and unplayable. All issues seem to be while operating the SD40. Other Issues I have had in this route are spawning into a loco that is not running and sitting on a 2* grade that starts rolling before you can even get things started and set up. Brakes work but do nothing, air does not work, nothing works... so now you have a runaway train with no option but to abandon ship. IIRC it was the McLure? or something service.
And another issue is in the Greenbriar service in which case you cannot complete it because the coal loading does not fully register on one car and it prevents you from attaining the next instruction to carry on in the service.

This is all getting very frustrating and pissing me off now. I bought this route a couple weeks ago and was enjoying quite nicely until last weekend. It seems the more I play into the route the more problems arise. This is a shame because it is such a beautiful and interesting not to mention challenging route -- if only it worked properly! I am starting to regret buying it.

On a side note... this is exactly why some people question the pricing lately. Why pay 40+ dollars for stuff that doesn't work right? I am kind of wondering this now myself after the last few experiences with Clinchfield.

    I GOT 'ER GOIN' !
No idea what I did but whatever it was I got throttle this time and it was "Onward Ho!"
But what a pull to get moving off that 1.5 grade in the snow... wow! Took me the better part of an hour to go 2 miles! But completed the service and was quite surprised to see some custom liveried units along the way and at the yard when I arrived. So this tells me two things, the service is no longer broken and -- looks like DTG has been fixing some custom spawning issues... at least for locos in Clinchfield. I still didn't see any of my custom coal hoppers. But it's good to know DTG is working on our concerns.

Spotted a couple of movie stars idling in the distance as we arrived in the yard...

A CPRail unit was also kicking around...

Custom liveried locos have always spawned on Clinchfield- it's the freight cars that are the issue.

It is possible you popped the PCS when setting the brakes up- this is an annoyance, but easy to fix if you know about it. That's the one thing I can think of on an SD40 which would cause a throttle lockout. (Unless you didn't engage the circuit selector?)

I am not exactly sure what I did different or perhaps wrong or even forget to do, but for some reason it all went fine after a few days of not playing. It is highly possible I missed an action during set up due to my frustrations. Or perhaps the game reset itself? All I know is that it worked fine the last time and I completed the service. The circuit selector could very well have been the issue as most other locos do not use it and I could have missed it without even cluing in to my oversight.
