When you install an AP Extra Stock pack it installs the repaints for a number of items. Looking in the folder it has a *.bin file which is what LocoSwap sees Because some of the other files of that reskin are missing it does not appear in the game
Yeah, but, there are only 2 MFAs, EWS red and a grey unbranded livery with a ballast load in that DLC. This pack from AP have Sectorisation, EWS Red and Blue, Dutch and unbranded liveries, with 2 types of ballast and sand loads. Cheerz. Steve.
Some repaints, it may be worth pointing out, may require sound packs and thus need to be reconfigured to use default sounds. Such reskins, except 421 and 423, typically have EPs to replace them anyway.
not been posted yet but AP have announced Wednesday's wagons for Wagon Wednesday Scenario will be for the Just Trains Midland Main Line: Derby-Nottingham-Leicester Extension
Lol have you got the new wagons. They do look rather nice. Tbf the last 3 Wednesdays offerings have been pretty good. Always nice to have more wagons in game as it’s an area that seems to get left out.
The wagons look nice but then you have to use them in scenarios to get the benefits. I know that some scenarios come with each of the wagon packs but after that you either change them yourself or wait for somebody else to create scenarios to use them. Having bought a number of different rolling stock add-ons I feel I'm only getting limited use out of them
this is why I tend to buy them when on sale when they only cost a few £. seems to be less harsh on the wallet and when you do find scenarios that use them it’s a nice little bonus
I utilise these wagons on all my routes, for the various time periods, obviously. You don't have to haul them around all the time, I use them as yard and sidings fillers, I appreciate that they can be a bit heavy on resources if you have a mid-end computer/laptop set up, you don't have to go mad putting them everywhere, just sparingly, and mix them up with lots of other rolling stock in the background, as these have better texturing if you get them into a screenshot with a loco in the foreground they do look good on all our British routes. Be inventive, that's what this game is all about using your imagination, and these wagons can be money well spent if you use them in other ways. Cheerz. Steve.
The MKA/POA/ZKA Wagon Pack is out now! EDIT: Actually out tomorrow, thank you to 390001 for correcting me.

Seems like AP are working on an enhancement to the sky and weather pack. Those clouds looks fantastic.
The TTA Wagon Pack Vol. 2 is coming out tomorrow as the final Wagon Wednesday (for now according to Armstrong Powerhouse)
Armstrong Powerhouse has released a sneak peek of their next release. I think it’s possibly an update or 2.0 version of the Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack.
...or a route? :P I guess someone is knowledgeable enough about UK lines to be able to tell which line(s) has signals K 605 and K 607?
Maybe, but they had sufficient interest to do a version 2.0 of Wherry. Perhaps their interest in route building isn't completely dead?
I knew it. He's remaking London-Peterborough...wait, that's not right... Must be a train he's working on that uses that route IRL. Or some new set of 99 cent scenarios on it.
I just don't understand why that would be something people would pay for, but to each their own I guess if that's what it is.
It does look like different/enhanced textures to me, I could be wrong it was just a guess on my part, we all know that sky texture upgrades are in the works though (more than one picture posted about that and even a comment from Richard iirc). Good spot on which signals it was though Peter.
ballast pack next then platform texture pack after that joking aside whatever it is will be buying it anyway
At first I agree that it seems a somewhat specialist upgrade, but then I remembered how many times I've not been entirely sure what colour the signal ahead is, or it's dim until the last few yards causing me to have to slam the brakes on. So if it helps with depth perception and clarity it would be a good idea I think. Though in this case it's mostly improved ambient lighting and weather.
The colour of the signal is based on the colour of the previous signal If the distant or previous signal was Green then this signal will be clear But if the previous signal was yellow you treat this signal as RED and aim to stop at it. That is the way train drivers are taught.and how I was taught in 1974 + 1992
I'm actually very surprised by this! I wasn't expecting the need for signals to be enhanced at all! I wonder how it will work in game.
I can think of a few improvements.... Lens flare is unrealistic & just looks like a blob of light The signal light its self looks like the bulb has dropped out to the lower 1/2 of the lens Signal reverts to danger the instant your train nose passes instead of a delay of some varying degree As per video, once route is set with junction feather the feather often sets 1st and the signal then clears & also the obvious texture enhancement.
