Hi. I was a senior conductor on the X City (And consider myself lucky enough to work alongside Daisy for that time) until November 2021 when I moved elsewhere but here is some feedback.

Firstly. It's INCREDIBLE what DTG have achieved for a commercial product. Please remember what it is, it's NOT a professional route designed for driver training costing hundreds of thousands of pounds but available on home PCs and consoles for £30.So the fact I feel I can pinpoint these in one post rather than an essay says a lot.

But there is some constructive feedback
    Lighting
    1. Entire route feels too bright to me, even on an IRL sunny day
    2. Dark cab greys are too bright, they should be the same color as the banding below the do you know your stopping pattern sign and the window frames

    Scenery
    1. Aston box is a brick shed rather than anything resembling the signal box
    2. Holliday Street tunnel just leaving new street has some weird lighting on the left wall
    3. Top fences on multiple bridges missing such as the bridges in the area of Proof house junction
    4. Multiple boundary fences missing from the north countryside area and also alongside the canal at multiple points between five ways and Bournville (maybe put a gate in it for Hunslet)
    5. Paths alongside the track on the Sutton side of Wylde Green run parallel to the tracks until the bridge not at an angle.
    6. Shenstone station seems to pop in very late

    Operations.
    1. Chester road down platform no OFF indicator just before the canopy, also no stop boards for either 3 or 6 cars that I've seen.
    2. Aston Down turnout signalling SB4623 is too restrive. It's not approach controlled unless they have changed it, or the trigger point is much earlier, as I used to watch the train into the platform from before the banner repeaters and the signal would already be off if appropriate.
    3. CB136 turn out from the up main to the Vauxhall chord is not approach controlled either. Just a feather lit in the number 1. This is due to the low speed of the area already approach controlled was removed the last time the resignalling was done
    4. Duddeston stop boards on the UP missing (towards new street)

Having said all this this route is INCREDIBLY good to a point that's all the constructive feedback I can give.

    And all for £30.

bosseye, this is a wonderful reflection on the route from another person who has worked it. As far as the signaling issues you note, Daisy said its designed to the new, upcoming changes to the route. Could this be why it's not like you remembered?

This is the most proper approach control we have ever had in TSW3 and I am loving it. Unfortunately it highlights where it is lacking in other routes that should have it.

Unlikely as its a recent system anyway (last 5 years or so) and the speeds are higher than full approach control so more efficient.

Updates to the route are why I didn't mention the 40mph PSR out of five ways into the tunnels when I was an SC being 30mph, or that the signal numbers at new street have all changed. When I was working through there the signal numbers were all NS2xx
