What kind of joke is this, please?

There are bugs and problems that have been on your list for over a year that you still haven't fixed.

For example, the Achievements for TSW 2, the DLC issues on PlayStation, scenarios that have red signals in both TSW 2 or 3.

But you have the time and resources to develop something like that ???

I've been waiting for months for the content I bought for 30€ to finally work properly, you put me off with your long To Do and that's what you do ?

    Am absolutely speechless!

Sorry to sound like the grinch that stole Christmas, but this DLC is absolutely ridiculous. You’ve wasted time, money and resources developing this when there are far too many issues existing in the ‘proper’ game. Wow. I love how you have gotten your priorities right.

Such a shame you've limited it to US haulage... Reskin a couple of DE and UK locos and you'd have a much wider audience

Whoever thought this was a good idea right now needs to sort their priorities out. There's still masses of bugs, no DLC limit fix after a year and a half and so on. No one asked or requested this, nor does anyone want another "reskin".
How out of touch with your "community" are you?

First time seeing a proper Xmas DLC that's not just an expansion pack like RhB livery pack. It's a whole toy train layout in like HO-Scale!

    Looks alright :).

Great to see the size for PS users being shown

    (Estimated download size for PlayStation platforms: PS5 = 1GB, PS4 = 500MB)

Cute. Not quite the theme for me, but I appreciate the concept. An actual model railway's not a bad theme for a fun light hearted cheaper DLC.

I do see how something like this can come across as a bit tone deaf when "all the community wants for xmas" can probably be summed up as a working DLC manager on PS5, no more AI SPADs on SoS, and Baby Bullet cab car services back. I imagine this has been in the pipeline since the mess that was the TSW3 launch, though.

C'mon DTG, we would have appreciated it a lot more if the time spent on this folly was in stead spent on the add-ons manager... Or the ever groing list of not fixed bugs...

I understand your point of view though, something like this generates income. Add-ons manager and fixing bugs only generates costs...

But, as I'm on 49 pieces of DLC on my PS4, the last valuable slot will not be taken by this....

I would prefer an authentic Cristmas/Holiday train from Caltrain or Union Pacific on a real route.

I can understand why some players think this is a fun little DLC, but it’s definitely the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe it’d be better received in a parallel universe where parallel DTG is delivering a fault free, totally enjoyable, not in the least bit infuriating parallel TSW.

Looks like a fun romp, aimed at kids and the family and reasonably cheap as well. I may have to make a purchase after Christmas.

Nothing against those who'll buy this DLC but it doesn't fit in TSW. ( IMO )

Model trains don't have functional Brake Pipes.

But again, new ideas are welcome if they learn to incorporate the community's feedback...
Do make such things, once in a while if some folks like it...

Oh my days! There is a danger some people might have some fun this Christmas. Can’t be having that. Humbug!

The existence of this DLC is quite separate from any of the issues that exist in TSW, just as the existence of the latest German route or UK route is separate from the issues. It’s not an either or situation. It’s just another DLC. Feel free to not want this product but I doubt very much it has come at the expense of anything else. It’s a bit of fun for those who want it and not a crime against those who don’t.

It’s Christmas time, there’s no need to be afraid.

Imagine a long list of long-standing bugs that are fixed in a patch released before christmas - that would have been a truly great christmas gift. But seeing that dev time is invested in something like this, that is just horrible in my personal opinion, these resources could have been put to better use. But I guess with the preservation crew discontinued (this team handling 3rd parties now basically), what did I expect...
Anyway, back to the point, hard pass on that one, that is not even going to make it onto the wishlist :)

Controversial take but I am on board with this. Obviously having kids the right age helps but I think they'll love this and price seems fair.

Given the new gameplay elements and lack of polish / large amouny of bugs in recent routes I have some trepidation but we'll see I guess.

For a large amount of the existing audience I completely understand this will be of no interest (they are free to ignore it) and it certainly doesn't absolve DGT from fixing the current state of the game / routes but it might increase the size of the player base or exisitng player engagement, bringing in more money to help fund the much needed development time.

Currently not buying any DLC until Add On Manager is released for TSW3 but since it's only 1GB I might make an exception for this. It is Christmas after all!

Cute, but I hope with the revenue this Fisher Price DLC brings in, it will be used wisely on fixing broken DLC already in the catalogue.

I understood that the preservation crew was for bringing older DLCs, mainly TSW1 routes up to TSW2 standard, not for fixing bugs. Therefore their work is now done. Hence their disbandment.

On one hand, it does look like an interesting DLC for the Holidays. On the other hand, another flipping F7. (just for $10 bucks as well)

I know which one I'm choosing, and it's because of the latter.

Gee, why would people not want to buy a dlc when previous ones are still riddled with issues? Why would people be upset that DTG increased prices only for the dlc to be riddled with issues? But it's the holidays so we should all just turn a blind eye right? It's not like they are still trying to sell a product when this game is still riddled with issues right?

The horror that people disapprove of this

It's a fun little DLC that no one is being forced to buy and as the team have said several times in the past, If they don't make DLC's they don't make money and can't work on trying to repair bugs. It's a necessary evil... And also it's Christmas. Let people have some fun without trying to be a grinch.. And I'm using Grinch because the Admins don't like swear words.

Oh it's Christmas so people can't freely speak their mind even if they are not buying this dlc. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not breaking any rules by giving my thoughts to what a user said. That doesn't make me a grinch.

But hey let's just turn a blind eye to the millions of pounds this company makes just to keep churning out buggy dlc after buggy dlc, act like DTG don't make money and are broke as some here still like to do.

It’s funny, In this DLC there is a mischievous elf running around the living room.

Comparatively, DTG are the mischievous elf running around TSW.

The theme of this DLC is having the player running around, tidying up and fixing issues. It’s abit on the nose DTG.

And oddly enough, I'm also speaking freely. You see how this works? Do you want them to stop making DLC's, thereby losing revenue, having to make people redundant and then eventually closing up and no patches and updates at all? Or just keep making money by releasing DLC's and thereby being able to make patches and updates?

Oh but if I said "ooh this is great. I'll buy it on day one and will enjoy it", you wouldn't have called me a grinch. See how that works? Sure DTG can release DLC's to make a quick buck, and I'll say what I wish and you shouldn't call people a grinch because they have a opinion that doesn't align with yours and act like DTG will go broke if they didn't release a dlc every month. They haven't released a dlc every month in the tsw2 and tsw2020 days and were just fine. There revenues actually went up.

Controversial but I may actually pick this up I really like the idea. I understand its not everyones cup of tea but I have some credit left over on my microsoft account so.

I do get that people feel hard done by with all of the bugs and fixes. I guess we'll see how far they've gotten on the roadmap?

See DTG, this is what happens if you release a unpolished DLC, with easy to spot bugs, so close after a price increase....

I would bet the reception would be totally different if Bahnstrecke Bremen – Oldenburg would be released in a more polished state, and if it didn't take so long for you to fix major issues, like the London Commuter broken timetable, Peninsula corridor cab-cars, or Spirit of Steam physics issues... and people would realy welcome this nice little 'change of pace' festive DLC...
