Hello, I would like to suggest the British Rail Class 142 Pacer for the Tees Valley Line as it would fit the era and it would substitute on the BR Class 101 services to simulate a takeover between the two classes Here is the livery they would wear, the Chocolate and Cream one... Training (In Training Center) Class 142 Introduction Scenarios: Darlington Special: (Difficulty - 1) Drive a double 142 from Saltburn to Darlington on a special service on a nice sunny day Morning Empties: (Difficulty - 2) Start this 142 from cold at Thornaby Depot and drive it out to Middlesbrough for its onward journey to Whitby Bouncy Time: (Difficulty - 1) Drive this 142 from Middlesbrough to Saltburn calling at all stations all while nodding about the line, (bounce... bounce... bounce ) I hope you enjoyed reading this suggestion, even if it's about the Marmite of the British railways, put your thoughts below, try to keep your responses civil please, I don't want another argument to break out in one of my threads like in the last one so yeah, be nice, enjoy yourselves and I'll see you below
What happened last thread... and oh no a pacer. I get pacers and why people like em but there not for me - still a must needed train for tsw though.
Well last thread there was an argument about 319s and if they ran to Peterborough or Cambridge in the 2000s or not, a big who ha regarding that You are entitled to your opinion but I agree that I don't personally like them but regardless, the Pacer needs to come to TSW at some point
They would have to be in BR Provincial 2 tone blue livery as the chocolate and cream was for Devon and Cornwall during their brief time down there. Otherwise a superb and often requested suggestion.
Originally there were 3 liveries for the Class 142s. Orange for Greater Manchester PTE. Choc/Cream for Devon and Cornwall. Blue for everywhere else.
The Class 142 or Class 143 would be most welcome. TBH they should have made this instead of the Class 20 or included it instead of the Class 101. The pacer would have lots of applications on other routes too - so definitely a useful thing to have in-game!
Very much long overdue. In all fairness there are a lot of types that should be created as dlc for existing routes and currently we are severely lacking.
Yep, the 142 is very overdue, it needs to come at some point DTG, even of they made Liverpool-Manchester via Warrington and include a 142 with that, everyone who wants a Pacer is happy
Own Tees Valley line Pacer DLC with WCL choc and cream paint is available for class 142 that can couple to class 150/2. Basically simulating Class 150 142 combined operation
I agree with you on that one and that will open the possibility of a South Wales route set in 2021 where you do see a combined Pacer Sprinter combination seen at Barry Island 7 May 2021 Gameplay wise you need to open the windows if you want to vent a Pacer DMU. That is also seen on Bahnstrecke Wuppertal Steinbeck Ennepetal Hagen Rhein Ruhr Osten
