I'm assuming this isn't going to be as easy as you think. The Game uses Tags to determine which Locomotive substitutes on which Route and I guess every German Frieght Loco uses the same Tag. I see Two Possibilities there. DTG/Skyhook changes the Tag of the BR 187, which means that it will no longer be recognized as a Substitute. However, this also means that other Routes will not recognize the DB BR 187 as Substitute without additional Updates. Or secondly, DTG changes the Tags that Bremen-Oldenburg is looking for. But that means that every other Frieght loco would disappear.
Indeed the 187 is not very accurate in BRO but it is what it is for now. I think it would be nice if you somehow can choose which trains layers on routes. Then you can choose yourself which ones you wanna see on the route. But that won't be easy i assume due the tags etc...
I like if you could toggle layers for each route that same way you can with mastery unlocks. I like the Hamburg Lubeck route but I hate that when I play RSN basically every 143 is replaced with the 112.
Exactly, or choose the better more advanced dosto's instead of the older ones, etc etc. would let people choose to make their more personal and maybe realisticer. That you also can choose the liveries for it etc
