I know its TSW2 content but in my full honest opinion, the tutorial on the Tees Valley Line with the 37 is horrible. I don't like how there are 2 locomotives involved, one is already fired up ready to go. That's not something I like to see. The one on the other line where you have the cranky guy speaking involving the british railfreight livery is great. I love that one. One locomotive involved, a few switches to operate. *corrections were made to the title and topic recently.
It would be very helpful if the correct names of the routes were used in the post. Then we may know which route it is that has the issue with the tutorial, if there is indeed a real issue, and not just that one loco is already powered up. As it is, “the pennies” and “the other line where you have the cranky guy” are not the names of the routes and are hard to decipher.
Hello! I was in a bit of a rush to head out the door. I am glad you are asking for clarification. The training module in the spotlight here turns out it's based on th Tees Valley Line under the title "Class 37 introduction" I made a mistake in the original topic's title. Secondly Yes, the West cornwall local's class 37 tutorial is far more superior and plesant as you have just 1 unit to learn about and it involves some switching and coupling as well as driving from the proper end, number 2.
I have just revisited this introduction on the Tees Valley line. I’m having a red light issue as the tutorial progresses, and can’t get to the end of it! Has anybody else come across this issue? Am I doing something wrong or missing something? Is there a possible work around? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. I am on TSW3 on the PS5 Thank you in advance
Hello, Yes I have had the same very frustrating problem, though mine was on the Xbox version. After watching a YouTube video of Simone completing it easily, I spotted my tutorial takes me on a different route. Before getting in the train, you need to change the points to pick the correct route. See attached picture for the points that need to be changed (basically keep right!) I hope that helps!
