Today I purchased the Nahverkehr Dresden route addon, and almost immediately came across two bugs prevent the completion of the Training center introductions. 1. BR 143 Intro' 2. BR 766.2 DBpbzfa Intro' [Solved] Platform: PC, XBox App 1. BR 143 Introduction. Fault: Straight after departing Priestewitz (heading to Niederau) there is a Red light that doesn't change, which stops you from continuing the journey. Even all trains coming from Niederau are stuck at red lights! 2. 2. BR 766.2 DBpbzfa Introduction. With this one, after setting up the train you have to set the breaks to 'Running'. A message then comes up on the screen "Wait for breaking system to charge" It's at this point where the introduction gets stuck on charging the breaks. All that happens is that the MB gauge keeps constantly fluctuating between 9.6 and 8.5. Even though you can move the cursor around, there is no interaction with anything. If you leave the seat, you can't sit back down. All interaction has failed. I so hope that this isn't going to be £25 wasted?
These are tsw3 exclusive issues. The port resulted in these problems. Dtg are slowly fixing the tutorials. They did with lirr in the recent update. So expect other route tutorials to be fixed in future updates
Fingers crossed! DTG should let their products gamers do the Beta testing prior to the release? It would certainly take some of the pressure off them, and help ensure that their products are in full working order when they are released.
Don´t know about that red light issue on PC (it can take quite some time), but for your item 2 we have a workaround. In a nutshell: There´s leakage in the pneumatic door openers. You can hear the air escaping when outside. That´s the reason why the brake system won´t build up enough air pressure (~9+ bar) to quite this step. Close the doors manually BEFORE you sit in the driver´s seat. This should stop the leakage and let you finish the introduction. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/brakes-not-charging.52007/#post-454563
Pipe I have just this minute discovered that. When attempting it for the fourth time, I noticed that the doors were still open, so I closed them, and it worked! Now the issue is that if you don't know that, the moment you switch the breaks to running you are no longer able to operate anything. All you can do is pan around the cab!
Glad it worked. Of course it is bug, but at least we´ve got a workaround. And yeah, otherwise you can just sit there and get drunk.
Pipe Saying that, I'm enjoying a bottle of ale whilst i'm waiting to see if the lights change on issue #1 Whilst I'm waiting, I might leave the train where it is and walk the 5 mile to Niederau lol
With that one I can´t help you, since I´m on a PS4 and on TSW2. We have some bugs that PC users don´t have and vice versa. But I´d recommend to have a look at the 2D map if there is, by any chance, traffic or movement around you. Or a green light on the route somewhere. If everything is red ..... then I think you´re stuck. Also try to contact the signaler, maybe he gives you a path. The guy´s a complete idiot, but if you don´t get a response or a "Denied, wait for signal to change" whilst the whole map is red ......... yeah, then you´ll get drunk from many ales. PROST!
Nope. This scenario is broken on both PC and XBox for TSW3. Works as expected on TSW2. This is a great purchase, broken scenario notwithstanding.
Yep! apart from the odd bugs, I am enjoying playing it. I love driving the Talent Every single light is at red, there isn't a single train behind mine (the players). There's not a single train in front on my track. All oncoming AI trains have a clear run all the through. Oncoming traffic is stacked up on the approach.. The Goods train isn't even stopped at a red. It's stopped around 800ft before it gets to my signal. I think the AI driver must have failed to acknowledge his trains safety systems, sending it into a emergency stop? LoL!
One more thing to keep in mind: sometimes, a scenario or timetable service will work on restart. I don't remember the route, but I found a train sitting in the station I was supposed to finish my service. It was a control car with a few dostos and no loco. Obviously, it couldn't go anywhere without a loco. I restarted the service, and zoomed the map on the destination, and saw the same train, but this time with a loco attached. I proceeded with the service and saw on the map that the train did leave the station and we crossed paths at some point. Eventually, I was able to finish that run. I think the route was MSB or RSN, but I'm not sure. This isn't the case here. You can restart the scenario many times, and you will end up with the same stalemate position. But just keep in mind that restarting is an option sometimes.
yardem I have also found that on a few runs you have to be spot on with your time, and breaking the speed limit is in order. If you're too slow, you get blocked!
Just to add: Some red light issues have been solved by simply delaying your departure. Screw the points for being late. How much delay I don´t know, it´s trial and error.
I can confirm the BR143 Intro red light is not fixed and the BR 766.2 Intro Hauptluftbehälterleitung (MR) leak is not fixed either. PC (Steam) TSW3 latest update.
I'm on PS4, and the BR 442 intro doesn't work either. After being instructed to test the emergency brakes and turn off throttle, you're supposed to wait for the brakes to recharge, but they don't, and you're locked out of interacting with the controls and if you get out of the seat, you can't sit back down.
Any updates on this bug Dovetail? I cant finish the BR143 tutorial cus of the red light issue! I know its just the tutorial but I wanna get that ticked off for the journey mode.
This is a very low priority issue, which means it will probably never be fixed. If you look at the recent history, DTG focus seems to be on creating new content, and fixing the bugs for that new content, then release more new content, and fix the bugs for that, and keep repeating. One big "post-release" patch for each DLC, and then forget about it.
I came to think recently whether you caused malfunction when you were delicately at the position where other AI trains were stranded with a signal by reproduction start time when I chose it among a timetable. How about?
