On looking at the manual for the ECML line there appears to be a line from just south of Stevanage, through places like Watton-at-Stone, Cuffey, Grange Park and rejoinong the line near Alexandra Palace. Checkng the F9 map the line is there but no apparent way to get on/off this loop. Any explanations?
It's probably outlined so that it shows on the map but has not been actually modelled. In the manual the driven route is shown in black and the loop is in grey/white so it makes sense it's separate
You seem to be good at linking to unrelated things The route from DPS just adds an extra section of line from Hitchin to Royston. The OP is referring to the Hertford Loop which has track but was never completed. You can run round that loop but only in Free Roam There is very little scenery but the line is complete and drivable in Free Roam and as the Track is set to Electric there is no restriction on stock. Perhaps I should have said. "This might interest you." Ok not what the OP asked but others might be interested in it and other content that DPS have to offer.
Why not just start a new thread rather than reply "Here's what you are looking for" which did not answer the question Peter
OP was looking for an extension to the GEML, thought DPS extension might be of interest. As I have said, I could have rephrased it. Are you a moderator here?
No - I was pointing out to the OP that "Here's what you are looking for" actually was not. And why would the OP ask about Ally Pally loop is he was "looking for an extension to the GEML" ?
