I have run a few trips with the same loco on the same, WCML Trent Valley, route and no problems.

This may help (or not): https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/p...pro/c0000006-error-troubleshooting-suggestion.
The IN PAGE ERROR is odd as that usually points to faulty hardware eg RAM, HDD (SSD), and so on.
It is not usually associated with a piece of software.
It could be that the editor is trying to access a protected address(es) in the RAM and it is throwing up a generic error.
Antivirus software can be a cause?
May be worth running windows diagnostic tests and see if there are fixes and errors, eg sfc scannow, DISM, dxdiag.

I had read a thread about the error and ran a few tests which did find a few errors.
Something to do with file ownership but the info is the same for old and new.

What I could not understand is why the Scenario crashed?
Using the same assets on the same route in a different scenario did not cause a problem

It could be that one scenario (that crashes) triggers an 'Invalid Page Fault' and the other does not.
In some instances, the scenario that crashes will also run OK - I've had that happen with scenarios in JT's Metropolitan Lines.
I have never found a fix!
