Hi everyone, I'm looking for the following missing assets for Roa-Honefoss, it's a Norwregian route. Feel free to delete this topic if I'm not allowed at all to mention non-DTG stuff. Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\billboards\ocvn\grindvo ll.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000277-000015.bin Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\billboards\ocvn\honefos s.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000264-000029.bin Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\billboards\ocvn\hval.bi n (Scenery Item) on tile +000267-000027.bin Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\billboards\ocvn\jevnake r.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000273-000021.bin Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\billboards\ocvn\roa.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000284-000016.bin MatsH\Bondgardar\bondgard1.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000267-000026.bin MatsH\Bondgardar\bondgard2.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000266-000028.bin MatsH\Bondgardar\bondgard3.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000266-000028.bin N3DT\Infrastruktur\railnetwork\trackrules\norway.b in (Road Item) on tile +000269-000026.bin newS\norway\railnetwork\signs\ocvn\skilt grindvoll.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000277-000015.bin ocvn\Containers\railnetwork\hvit brakke2.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000266-000028.bin ocvn\Containers\railnetwork\hvit_brakke.bin (Scenery Item) on tile +000264-000029.bin
Good luck, I see some assets are installed to Kuju\RailSimulator which makes them very hard to find, and is also very very bad practice.
Because you do not have any clue who created these assets. It's easier to find Assets\JohnDoe\Mystuff\blabla.xml because you have a hint who the author is, and what to put into Google. In this case it's alien stuff copied into someone else's folder. Same as some 3rd party asset creators who used the default "Developer\AddOn" folder names and forgot to customize them in the blueprint editor.
Hard to find as it's a few files within a whole heap of them, and bad practice because they should always be in their own sub folder RailWorks\Assets\Custom name\scenery\billboards\ocvn\jevnake r.bin that way finding them and more importantly deleting them if need be is a whole load easier and doesn't disturb or mess with the base kuju file structure. btw it looks like poor xml editing may be the issue you're having, look at the example I copied jevnake r.bin is it possibly meant to be jevnaker.bin instead? Another couple of examples from your list has .b in instead of .bin so they are definitely incorrect.
I've browsed my assets library, no luck. The route will still work without them - maybe you can contact the author.
I know it will still work without them but I would prefer to have them, still. I have contacted the author but he hasn't been online since 2019 so I doubt he will reply back to my message.
