Xbox Series X Missing Trains/layers On Kassel-würzburg When Spawning On Foot

Have been playing the Kassel-Würzburg route recently, and have been really enjoying it! But, I've noticed something odd when spawning on foot.

For context, I wanted to play the NJ 490/40420 Wien/Innsbruck Hbf to Hamburg-Altona service with the BR 101. This service starts at 0245hrs at Würzburg. So, as with most services I play on TSW, I spawned on foot 5-10 minutes before. However, having spawned on foot at the station, the service never arrived - I also noticed there was no other AI traffic at all (although static rolling stock in sidings were present).

However, when selecting the service from the timetable, it starts from the station as normal at the correct time and I notice other AI freight traffic that was previously missing when spawning on foot is back.

Regarding the actual service, completed it fine and noticed nothing wrong, although as stated above, this was from the timetable menu instead of spawning on foot.

One further thing, I spawned on foot around 2300hrs at Würzburg, and there seemed to be normal AI traffic present, so I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with the above.

 

The timetable day for this route is extended beyond midnight, but when you spawn on foot at 02.40 it is the ‘wrong’ 02.40 in that extended day, when no trains are running. The timetable has those services happening after midnight but ‘spawn on foot’ places you 24 hours ahead of them in the ‘first’ 02.40 of the extra long day in this instance. The days don’t wrap around in the sim. That’s probably a simplified (but still complicated to write) explanation but that is what happening.

 

Hmm interesting, I didn't think of that. This makes sense as I spawned around 9am at Kassel for one of the other 101 services and everything there was fine. Anyway, much appreciated for the clarification.
