There is an Acela DLC, and an overhead AC electric route DLC, it's expected the Acela to be available for Boston (As shown) as well as the new route (Which is predicted to be part of the NEC). The US expansion pack is currently speculated to be either for Cajon or Sherman Hill.
It could be new york to new haven or nyp to trenton or nyp to philly since nyp to philly is close to a hundred miles which is quite long. Could be a njt route. If they do nyp to trenton or philly, they can add the njt alp46 and then have the other trains layer in. If njt can't happen, then it can come with a aem7 which came in the tsc version. Don't know what runs on nyp to nh other than the acs64 and acela.
If the root enhancement pack is Sherman hill, then this is what I want dovetail to add. 3-D clouds, new lighting and updated scenery. Scenery in Sherman Hill is a bit boring and out to throughout the middle of the route doesn’t really have much a little updates would be nice. Also track three should be finished it’s already in Sherman Hill it’s just unfinished is there is a train that does run down that track kinda at around 1730 pulled by 4 SD70ACE And has around 100 to 90 coal cars from Cheyenne and then it goes down track three and then it just disappears somewhere off screen all they need to do is just add accurate scenery and have services run down that track. WonterRail Has a form on this Also, have you noticed that bridge that is above Cheyenne when you leave the yard to go to Laramie, that’s the BNSF line and it would be nice if we can see BNSF train spawn on that line and pass by every hour or so maybe. Also, just maybe we could have a new locomotive like that Devo or the big boy. And that’s all I Gotta say
If it really is Sherman Hill then I am excited, as I love that route and it could use some more variety. Even if the loco itself would not offer anything that different, it could at least offer a new freight car for the route or two. We will see soon, hopefully.
Hear ye, hear ye! This is it! My prediction was right, it is Sherman Hill upgrade! Plus Union Pacific SD70ACe''s Heritage Scheme addon. (Minutes 11:51 on stream)
So there you have it. The existing train on Sherman Hill is a different colour It was explained in previous live streams not to get too excited about this pack and they were right. They also said to think of it like Diesel Legends and with that they were overpromising a little. Diesel Legends was a whole new timetable with different trains. This is far from that but the locos all look great as does the new lighting.
Now I wondering, do DTG implemented the new DPU behaviour from CJP ES44C4 to the updated Sherman Hill or not. By new behavior i mean the DPU also response to any brake application (auto brake and independent brake bail off when necessary e.g. during dynamic braking.)
Longer distances are preferred in terms of routes. We always think that if we can't do it all at once, we should have a system to split the timetable so that it can be divided.
Speaking of the Sherman Hill upgrade, i'm hoping for some mainline SD40-2 services with AC4400CW's from Cane Creek subbing in.
I honestly would hope to see Horseshoe Curve (HSC) updated to the current standards of the game in regards to lighting, dynamic weather, etc. I saw a post talking about the Roadmap and how the livery pack could possibly be the Norfolk Southern heritage units. The ES44AC's and the SD70ACe's. Similar to that of how they added the Union Pacific Heritage Collection. That would be my guess/suggestion.
Wrong thread lol. This thread is for a previously released pack for Sherman Hill (up heritage collection).
Oh, oops. I've been playing the game ever since TSW2 came out, but it's my first time in the forums. lol. I'll try to be a little more attentive when it comes to dates.
Here is the thread if you want to take a look. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/skyhook-us-gameplay-and-livery-pack-speculation.71283/
