I'm not Too keen on the acceleration and the braking I prefer notch 1 2 3 4 like in other games etc...very heavy wind in the cab....and thought it was automatic Announcements u pick which ones they say it like next station are this is etc don't get me wrong great route train etc just bugs
1: Notch and Stepless: This is Hitachi's design, not Rivet's design. 2: For now, close a door that was on your right near passenger cabin which magically reduced the wind noise. 3: The auto PA isnt really auto but better than not having it before.
This is accurate for this class of train and according to an old chap I know who has been a train driver for a long time he prefers the brakes the hitachi trains have over the stepped brakes, though it is probably worth noting he currently drives the 80x series of trains but their brakes work the same way as the 385s!
Overall I think once the get the bugs worked out, lighting on Waverley station, I think it has potential. The night lighting is much better than BCC. You can actually see and drive at night. As long as you close all the cab door the noise is drastically improved and much better experience.
