I'm creating a scenario on the LIRR route and found some issues with paths at junction points. Some junction sections are forcing trains to go in one direction. For example, Trains are being forced to switch tracks even though they could go straight to get where they need to be. In some instances at Jamaica station, If I wanted a train to go track 4, it would make the train go through track 3 to reverse past the station to get in the selected platform. I posted screenshots to show examples of what I'm talking about. I'm wondering if the anomalies in the track itself has something to do with it. Open the route in route editor (not scenario edit) press spacebar whilst looking at the track until you see the direction arrows on the track itself.

Check that the path you wish to use is set for the direction of travel you wish the dispatcher to send you, I recommend you look at youtube videos to show you how to change it if needed.

If the direction is ok then check electrification is set correctly, again by continuing with the spacebar presses, you're looking for little lightning bolts on the track now instead of the arrows.

If you're expecting DTG to fix it then sit back put your feet up and grow old whilst discovering a new hobby like ornithology or painting (that's my positive way of saying don't hold your breath btw).

Seriously, watch CactusJuice or Matt Peddlesden youtube tutorials and fix it yourself.

Oh btw the anomalies are just lazy track laying, the frogs are (only visually) broken because the track layer hasn't applied either of the two fixes to this visual anomaly.

Fix 1 is cut the track in the middle of the crossover point and then re-weld it.
    or..
Fix 2 double click on the track at the anomaly point and edit the numerical values.

Again youtube tutorials are your friend.

They don't effect the running of the route though like I said it's only a visual anomaly so just leave them as they are if they don't bother you.

Thanks for the info, It's greatly appreciated. The only issue I see I can fix it on my end but I couldn't share the scenario with the community it would still be broken on their end.
