I’ve replayed tsc version; it’s a good one for me. More variety of locos 68 hst and 66 if you bought it and others two l i don’t remember. What version do you prefer?
I don't have the exact route. By default it came with the 170 and 37 and hst which was ai only according to tsc. The other locos you had to buy and stuff i believe that were part of other routes. More variety for sure and diesels are nice too but I also like how tsw is modem
IIRC the 170 had the flawed TSC Sprinter physics, i.e. where Notch 1 to 6 act as a speed setter/cruise control rather than just applying more (or less) power progressively. That resulted in the slightly silly situation of running downhill, throttling back to Notch 4 or 5 and the train decelerating rapidly. Only Notch 7 worked properly. The route itself was good, though.
TSC version likely doesn't come with those assets and scenarios, they're probably extras. At least with TSW version everything "works" (within the usual definition of works) out of the box and you don't need to go hunting for assets or liveries let alone scenarios
The TSC version is set in a better time period but the TSW version of the route looks better despite current issues. I would have happily accepted the 170 over the 385, we need more DMUs added to the game rather than more EMUs which there are plenty of in comparison.
Everything you need to play the TSC route is included, including 2 locos ( 170, 37 ) and half a dozen scenarios. You don't need to " hunt down " any assets or liveries.
I think ARuscoe is pointing out that in order to use the other trains the op mentioned (68, 66), you have to buy the appropriate dlc. The base route only comes with the 170 and 37, but to use the other locomotives or dmus, you need to buy additional dlc, therefore needing to hunt for them
Yeah, but those weren't the assets the poster mentioned, and six scenarios doesn't really compare to 150+ timetable runs and six scenarios you get out of the box on TSW
